I had no idea food could taste this good. The staff here couldn't have been nicer and made our dinner an incredible experience. Every bite I took just blew my mind. Very well worth the price.

We have been vacationing in the OBX for 30+ years and I never knew about Colington Café. Some friends took us and what a delightful place. It has a lovely garden in back and the food was spectacular. Save room for dessert!

We tried this restaurant for the first time and were very pleased with the food and service. They were very accommodating to families with young children despite what other reviewers have said. All food was excellent! The smoked mixed vegetables were unique and were also excellent. Only downside was that servers were visibly disappointed and turned cold when we declined... More

It had been a while since we had eaten here (before TripAdvisor), but we had an enjoyable evening. Place was busy and you need reservations, and parking was a little tight. Atmosphere and decor are nice, service is prompt and kind, prices reasonable, and menu varied. We had she crab bisque (very good), a grilled shrimp and scallop tropicale (very... More

A must go to dinner while in the outer banks. Unique cozy ambiance. Great service and delicious food. Recommend the filet and crab cake.

My wife and I, with our one year old son ate at Colington Café on August 17, 2016. We arrived at opening and were the second group seated – even though we had no reservations. Our server went out of her way to make us feel at home with an infant in such a nice restaurant. Both of us got... More

Fantastic steak and seafood. We placed a reservation for 9 people for 7:30 diner at 4pm. The food and wine selection was great. Most of our party ordered a filet with seafood. No one had any complaints. Service was fast and accurate. The restaurant sits a little off the beaten path. We will definitely be back next year.

After coming to the outer banks for years, we finally found Collington Cafe! Recommended by a friend from home, we decided to give it a try. We made reservations the day before so we would be all set. We started out with the crab dip in which there was no shortage of crab meat! It was delicious! If there was... More

Nestled off the beaten path in a Victorian house surrounded by 400 year-old oak trees, we are a local's favorite. Our seafood is brought in fresh daily, and we use locally grown ingredients. All the locals love our filet dishes as well as our large menu. All desserts are homemade. We are a family run restaurant with most of our staff having been with us for over 15 years. We do everything to make sure all of our customers leave happy.
