Awesome place for lunch or dinner. I have never had anything that I didn't love. The beer section is always fresh and local.

This place was recommended by a local resident. We were not disappointed. It is simply a diner, but the menu is not diner food. I had broiled shrimp linguini in a red sauce. The shrimp were cooked just right, and the sauce was really good. The restaurant is also noted for its' key lime pie. If that is one of... More

She actually kept up with my husband's tea consumption rate. Becca was definitely the best Server we have had in the OBX. Not to mention the Fisherman's stew is delicious and I love that the cup is served in a hearty coffee mug. Everyone loved their food from the fresh fish to the pork chop to the hamburger! So Good!... We took a group on 8 on a Thursday night and had to wait about 45 minutes for a table. We were pretty crowded in but we happy to have found anything at all in season on OBX. The specials were selling out fast but we did get the last shrimp and grits and wahoo. Do not expect a quiet... More

This place used to be the best place to get dinner in the OBX. We used to dream about this place all year long and wait with anticipation till summer rolled around. I'm not sure what happened this year but our visit did not stack up. Margaritas were mostly ice. Craft root beer labeled on the menu was just something... More

I want to give 5 stars so bad, but I cant because every time we come to have dinner at kill devil grill, we have to wait at least 40 minutes for a table.. food is great, service is over the top, but having to wait so long for a table is a deal breaker for me..

This place has great food but these eggrolls are addictive! The service is friendly & prompt. We usually eat here a couple of times a month, never disappointed.

18 oz. rib eye steak /w mashed potato and fried summer veggies. Key lime pie for dessert. Can't believe I ate the whole thing but it was so good I couldn't stop.

I never thought I would go to the beach and not eat seafood but I saw the Big Kahuna burger and fries as I sat down and I was hooked. It was excellent. Since returning home a friend told me the chicken wings are also fantastic. My husband and I are returning next week and this time I am going... More
