Hoping for better. Came here for dinner and waiter was really attentive and nice. We each got bowl of soup crab and clam chowder. Crab soup was good. Got steamed mussels and they were good nothing to cry home about. My husband got the stuffed...flounder and he said it was good but not super flavorful. I got the fried seafood platter cane with flounder, shrimp, crab cake, and scallops. Was a decent amount of food but a bit overpriced. Overall we spent $80 and we didn’t even get drinks besides water. For the price I’d expect a better meal.More
Made a late afternoon reservation on a Friday night and we were happily accommodated. The server was very attentive and the food was delicious (and giant portions). The boiled shrimp (peel n eat) had a nice spice and by far was the best that I...have ever had. Highly recommend!More
DELICIOUS!! I have gotten several entrees that are amazing. The seafood combo, my all time favorite, herb crusted chicken, oysters appetizer, crab and artichoke dip and oh my that Oreo cheesecake is crazy good!! Gray was our server and very attentive!! We are now regulars!!
Delicious food friendly staff. Bill the bartender really knows his stuff and my perfect manhattan was perfect.
Dinner was fantastic - big portions we all took food home. The oysters rock were smoky and succulent. My tea brined pork chop was tender and great. My...friend had the fried seafood platter and we all tried her fried flounder it was crisp and flavorful and just off the boat fresh the prime rib was well prepared and the blackened scallops with it were good as well.
Our server, Courtney, was pleasant and knowledgeable and constantly checked in with us to make sure we had everything out we needed and kept our tea glasses full. Will definitely return.
The sweet potato biscuits were a lovely surprise.More
We went on a Friday night. Called ahead and got seated immediately. Our server was nice but didn't seem excited about having to be working. The apps were okay not sure why they put artichokes in the hot crab dip. One person at our table...got the stuffed flounder and it was over cooked and a little tuff. The amount of seafood you got in the broiled platter was not worth the 28 dollar price they charged. Another one of our friends had the cajun pasta and the chicken was dry and chewy. I wasn't feeling seafood so I ordered a Caesar and a pizza since the had a wood fired brick oven I was excited for a good pie. My first bite into the pizza I knew it was a pre frozen crust. I felt like they served me a Totinos frozen pizza and tried to charge 13.99 for it. I wasn't not impressed. I sent it back and a manager never even came over to check on us or apologize. First time and last time I will visit this establishment.More
Had a reservation for another restaurant and I wish we would have stuck with it. Our server was nice and all of the appetizers were great. The Tuna poke salad was good (which the mangos were a little more ripe) the calamari was great not...greasy at all. The rolls were good as well. My sister ordered the Parmesan crusted grouper with jumbo shrimp with green beans and a salad and I had the baked flounder stuffed with crab and my sides were rice pilaf and mashed potatoes. My sisters dish was great. I opted to get something different because it did have bell peppers in it and I don’t like cooked bell peppers. When I tasted my dish I was at first thinking this is the first bite the flavor will be in the next bite. Well the second and third bite had no flavor which I didn’t understand because clearly they put seasoning on it. I tried the crab in the middle and it wasn’t great. I let my sister try to make sure I wasn’t crazy and she as well agreed with me. Our waiter came back around and I told him that I would like something else because it wasn’t seasoned. He asked if I wanted to him to put more seasoning on the food. I told him no it’s ok I would like to order something else. He said he had to talk to his manager took the food and walked away. I continued to eat my mash potatoes and my no salt or pepper rice. Our waiter comes back and asked what I want without giving me a menu to pick something else. I told him some steamed shrimp would be fine. They came out and again no flavor at all matter of fact they tasted like chicken. I ate two to see and I couldn’t. They were peel as you eat which is fine I love that but when you don’t get the best you can taste it. The little dark poop trailer was sandy sin the mouth not good and the shrimp were over cooked. I guess I am upset because yesterday I paid $17 dollars per pound for some shrimp from a small place and they were absolutely amazing. I had to peel them as well but the flavor was amazing. Not saying this place is horrible but there are better out there. Also, didn’t like the fact that once I told our waiter the food I ordered I didn’t like he stopped talking to us with the happy demeanor he had before. I didn’t make a scene and I still paid for the shrimp that I only ate two of. Didn’t want a free meal I just wanted good food.More
