Great pizza

We have been coming to Kitty Hawk for a very long time and normally get pizza at a different place and figured we'd give this place a try and we are sure glad we did. Slice will be our new go to for pizza at Kitty Hawk! The pizza was delicious and the crust was perfectly cooked (not to soft nor to crunchy). The turn around was very quick from when we ordered. The value for the size and amount of toppings was good and the toppings were evenly spread.

Great concept, great pizza

You can get pizza by the slice in any combination you want. They keep about ten or more pizza types available at most times. You can see them in the warming towers where you place your order. We had chicago style sausage and pepperoni, chicken bacon ranch and margherita all of which were very good. Highly recommended if you like pizza variety or if you just like great pizza. There are only a few dining tables and they are outside so have an option if it's hot out. The dining are is in the shade for dinner, but not for lunch.

Great pizza!

We got a pizza and boneless wings last night and they were both excellent. The Boneless Wings had a Thai chili sauce on them which was not for the faint of heart but very delicious. The pizza was The Gourmet Pizza and lived up to its name. Both my husband and I who are quite picky about pizza crust really like this pizza crust. We will definitely be back. They do delivery which was awesome especially since we called only 20 minutes before closing time. The pizza arrived in about 15 minutes which was incredible.

Delicious food & doing GREAT JOB during Covid-19!!!

Slice has excellent pizza! If you like BBQ chicken pizza get the chicken, bacon, ranch and substitute bbq sauce for the ranch. This was suggested to me when I called in a takeout order. This pizza was amazing....better quality ingredients than most others. We are avoiding in person dining, so order takeout occasionally. This restaurant is doing things right to keep themselves and customers safe. Kudos, Slice! We will be back next time we are in town. Keep up the great work!

Slices remind me of being back in NYC

Unfortunately, the multiple boxes of pizza we ordered were devoured quickly causing me not to be able to take pics. The quality of the cheese is very delicious and takes me back to the days of being home in Brooklyn, NY. I definitely recommend Slice Pizzeria to anyone wanting some serious pizza in the Outer Banks area. You won't be disappointed!

We ordered a house salad and 14” pizza for 2. Salad exceeded your typical house variety with kalamata olives, tomatoes, cucumber, onions and green peppers for topping. They also didn’t skimp on the pizza toppings. We had it delivered and they were right on time!

Family Delivery during thunderstorm

Our family was renting a house for the week and had decided to try this pizzaria based on reccomendations. We are so glad we did. Delivery arrived earlier than expected, pizza were hot and delicious. We had both a deep dish and hawaiian pizza and both were great. Would definately reccomend 2 large pizzas for a oarty of five. Perfect sizes.

Margherita Pie is Crazy Good

I asked some locals where to get the best pizza in Nags Head/Kitty Hawk and this place was on everybody’s list, so I gave it a go. 🍕 Ordered the Margherita and was exceedingly pleased. The chewy crust, fresh ruby-red plum tomatoes, and fresh basil were excellent, but to me the stars of this pie-show were the fresh garlic, which was very liberally applied and immensely satisfying, and the fresh mozzarella. You know how real, fresh moz feels pillowy when you bite it? And how it has that mild but distinctive and unmistakable, beautiful flavor? BAM. This moz was as good as any I’ve had in NYC or anywhere else. 🍕 Didn’t really expect to find pizza this good in the OBX, but hey, good surprises are part of what makes life such a great ride.

Good pizza, rude staff

This place has some good pizza. Nice sauce and a good amount of cheese. Could be baked a little longer, but that's not the issue. We did a takeout order via the app, which should be a quick easy and forgettable transaction, but the man working the counter was unbelievably rude. We were eating back at our hotel by the pool, so I asked for plates. You would think I asked him to borrow money or for a kidney the way he reacted.

We had gotten to OBX after a 12.5 hour trip and did not want to leave to get dinner. So we decided pizza was our best bet. We ordered wings and the deep dish pizza. We had to call because their online ordering said it wasn't open yet. So it wasn't a big deal, just wanted to give a heads up. But they said it would come in 1 hour and 15 min, but to our surprise it showed up in 45 min. We were very pleased with that. The pizza and wings were both very good. The pizza was huge and so filling. I ate 1 piece and my husband ate 2. You get 6 pieces per pizza. The wings were also very crisp and delicious, even after being delivered. 100% would recommend!

Crust Makes the Pizza

I always say the crust makes the pizza and Slice Pizzeria DID NOT disappoint. We ordered the pizza by the slices and waited for our number to be called. Because of covid you can not eat inside or the fountain drink was not available. However, there is outside seating and bottle drinks. Would definitely go back.

Just OK

Just OK Went in for a slice of pepperoni and in the case there were two old slices that look like they had been in there all day and then a brand new fresh hot pepperoni pizza… I asked if I could have a couple slices from the fresh one and she said no we have to use up the old one first… This is the first for me. I have asked other places, and they are happy to give me some of the fresh pizza rather than the old cardboard Tasting pizza… I guess the customer comes last hear… Anyway, tasted like it been in the case all day… That fresh pizza sure looked good but….no fresh pizza for you!!!!

Not a best place for pizza

We ordered slices of various pizza and chicken wings. Crust was OK , but the dough was thick. Wings were OK. However, the service was terrible. The man behind the counter was rude, short tempered, unwelcoming and unfriendly. When asked to use the bathroom after ordering the food he said to check the receipt for a lock code. But he did not provide us with receipt. He would not provide the code although he knew we just ordered, paid and waited for the pizzas. Another customer also complained about the unfriendliness and over complicated bathroom system. If you want the good pizza and super welcoming server go to Collington Pizza.

Decent pizza- take out or eat outside

Good pizza and nice staff. They do use soy oil in the crust, so if allergic to soy please do not eat here. Pizza was good- toppings (ground beef, mushrooms, red roasted peppers) all good. Take out or eat outside at picnic tables.

Good pizza available in various styles including thin and Chicago styles. I like their NY style best. The great thing is the always have a bunch of pies they sell by the slice. And they deliver pies, too
