1st time here and had to use the drive through cause of covid. The menu on the outside wall was very overwhelming because they have TONS of options/food and we'd never been here. But within a couple of minutes a girl came out and was...VERY helpful in explaining the food items. Whenever we come this way again we will DEFINITELY stop!!!! Here's what we ate an that I would highly suggest and I would order the same again: beef brisket plate, the "lexington" pulled pork, baked beans, potato salad, sweet coleslaw, mac n cheese, and key lime pie.More

Food is not as fresh as they’d like you to think. Shrimp served until it doesn’t smell good anymore and chicken is served past its 7 day period

Nice selection and quick service with good prices. Eastern or Lexington-style BBQ. Hush puppies are shaped like an O and are tasty. Good fried okra. You order at the window so everything is fresh and takes time to assemble your order. Happy with everything.

Casual atmosphere with great history on the walls of owners and locals who are important to the community - that was touching. Says they have live music a few nights which is nice. The food was really good. I have to say the baked beans...were my favorite! They had just the right amount of seasoning with being too sweet or too hickory. Stop by this great local place - you'll love it!More

No table service, order at the counter for everything. Very friendly staff with excellent foods at reasonable prices. Basic booth type with tables, informal eatery. Old timers band picking old-time bluegrass. Nice visit, but probably not returning as at 65, I'm too young for this...local crowd.More

Very impressed with the wide variety of foods especially since our young daughter only likes chicken tenders and hotdogs. The BBQ was delicious as was the slaw, baked beans, hushpuppies and homemade key lime pie. Also LIVE MUSIC on Thursday and Saturday nights.

This was pretty good. I tried the BBQ lexington style. This gives it a tomato base with vinegar rather then just vinegar.

Stopped by before heading to in-laws. I picked up takeouts of bbq sandwiches, cole slaw and fries. It was great. We have used them for catering which everyone enjoyed. On our way home, I picked up some for freeze for later which works out well.

I'm not a fan of Lexington Style BBQ, but this restaurant has both Lexington and Eastern NC BBQ. I love the Eastern style, and the circular hush puppies are good too.

No one in my family enjoyed our meal. It taste like their BBQ is canned. I would not waste my time going there. The music is great but the food is not.

Greg and Gary's grandmother was named Polly. She was also very prissy (in a good way). When we were throwing around names it just fit. We are a family owned restaurant and wanted to keep her name alive.
