This restaurant was highly recommended by our real estate agent and it did not disappoint. The night started with a great wine recommendation by the sommelier. It continued with great service from our waiter, Jersey. The food was delicious! Sitting outside, even in the pouring rain, was a great choice. Be sure to make this restaurant part of your stay.

I had mountain trout fillets with a tiny dab of sauce with pine nuts and a few side fresh vegetables. Would have preferred a bit more sauce or at least lemon. Service was prompt which was perfect for tired travelers. Sat on covered back porch and the weather fortunately was pleasing.

Went here on a whim and was not disappointed! We had the lamb chops and they were some of the best we ever had! Also had the short rib with potatoes and greens and it was on point! Sat outside and people watched and even got to hear the church bells!

My husband and I walked over early to see if we could sit at the bar for a light dinner. The bar was full but we were seated on the patio and had a great meal of a series of small plates. The waitress was fantastic and was obviously juggling lots of tables; but did a great job. The stuffed... More

Both wife and I had local trout but prepared differently. Very good on both. Nice wine list and very good service. Even got a free pair of readers since we forgot ours. In busy time, reservations needed but nic bar to wait. Really good place to enjoy dining.

First time to stay in Highland. This is a great restaurant at the end of town. It would be wise to make reservations because it can be quite busy. We had the rainbow trout special which was delicious. Service was very good. They have plenty of out door seating. Dress code is like any where else now from coat and... More

My daughter and I ate here during the week, fairly early in the evening in August. The hostesses seems a bit confused (but sweet) and were having a challenge managing getting folks seated as they were having a big event in the back portion. However, once we were seated we received exceptional service and the meal was delightful. We ate... More
