My wife along with 4 other couples enjoyed a great evening at Wolfgang ' s last night. We were seated in a room at the rear by ourselves. Service very good and the food was outstanding. One of my favorites at Wolfgang 's is the short rib. It was fantastic. Several had trigger fish and they all said it was... More

Eight friends and I enjoyed delicious food and drinks at Wolfgang's in Highlands NC. We were seated in a private room with warm atmosphere and good service, while celebrating the birthday of a dear friend, and over 36 years of friendship and travels. A great evening of fine dining and wine!

A really fun spot with your special other. The wine selection is very nice as are the tapas. If the weather is good try to sit outside; failing that, try the bar. Again, fun place.

We got into town late and walked down to this restaurant, and got seated immediately. We both had the angus filet, and lobster bisque. The food and service were fabulous. The owner who is the chef, came by our table to make sure all was good. The experience was so good we made reservations for the next night to try... More

Veal medallions and Wiener schnitzel, all good!!! We had the medallions of veal with crawfish. Very nice. We met the chef who once was at commanders palace in New Orleans so, there is a nice Cajun flair to the menu. The wait staff was very attentive

We didn't have reservations but we're able to eat at the bar. It was much more fun and really enjoyed it. The crab cake was fantastic and my wife said her grilled shrimp was excellent

One of our favorite places to eat in Highlands, NC. My husband eats the barvarian platter, I had trout Oscar, my mom had wiener schnitzel and our guests had chicken and shrimp. Desserts were chocolate mousse and a chocolate mint cream bruelle. Well with the two weeks anticipation.

I was quite surprised on my first visit by the obviously German cuisine with Cajun touches like crayfish on the veal scallops. It all made sense when I learned that Chef Wofgang had worked for a time at Commander's Palace in New Orleans. We visited again this past weekend and the food was excellent as was the food on on... Wide array of menu choices. Great service. Inside and outside table choices. Nice ambiance. Wolfgang stopped by table for pleasant chat. Food well prepared. Try the Bavarian Sampler!

Highlands has many great restaurants and Wolfgang's is amongst my list of favorites. I order the Bavarian Sampler and the knockwurst is the best I've eaten since living in Germany, while my dad was stationed there. There are so many delicious choices on the menu and I've decided I must eat there more than one time next trip to Highlands.... More
