Our expectations were high after reading/talking about people’s experience here. We were not disappointed at all. Our evening was great and memorable.
Our meal was well paced and service was excellent.
I had maybe the best Bolognese ever. It was duck and lamb based with...homemade pasta. Unbelievably good - hats off to the chef on this one. Wife had the salmon and was happy.
We celebrated wife’s birthday and they made it memorable. Thanks.More
Stopped in for lunch during the week. Service was excellent and food was good. Perhaps I hyped up what I thought it would be and it didn’t meet the experience I had set in my head. The food wasn’t bad I just wasn’t blown away....Service on the other hand, was best we experienced in town. We had the burger with stew as the side as well as the hummus and fish and chips.More
The service was EXCELLENT!!! The ambiance was nice. The food was "blah" for the price. Those that had the catfish thought is was bland and cold. The chicken salad was too onion heavy for my liking, but others in the party thought it was okay....Basically, way too pricey for lunch food., but the free biscuits were YUMMY. Maybe the best part of the meal! (Save your money.)More
Great experience at the Old Edwards Inn. Had lunch at Madison's and couldn't be more pleased. The shrimp and grits are wonderful. (without the jalapenos). Creamy cheddar grits, large shrimp and andouille sausage. Simply delicious. My friend had the Painted Hills Farm Burger with pimento...cheese and carnalized onions. Servers attentive and polite. Masks were worn and temperature taken upon entering. Love the elegant but cozy and comfortable atmosphere.More
We were guests at the hotel and had a much better experience with breakfast rather than dinner. We stayed/dined here in 2018 and couldn’t wait to return! I’m not sure if it was just our menu choices but we were less than thrilled with our...dinner (short rib special, pork tenderloin, charcuterie and soufflé). If I were to dine again, I certainly wouldn’t order either of those dishes. Service, however, was top notch!! Breakfast was phenomenal and very flavorful (oats and omelets).More
"Jenny" made our dining experience at Madison's a pleasure and we highly recommend that anyone seeking great service with a professional but welcoming approach, ask for her by name. The meals that we had during our visit were a culinary delight!
