Party of 4 went and everyone loved their food. Service was great. Have very large margaritas and some good Mexican beer. Had burritos, quesadillas, fajitas, beef. Large portions, and everyone finished everything. Served with chips and salsa. They have a very good salsa verde. Recommended if your looking for Mexican. Cost with tax, tip, and one drink each was $25/person.

I went there with my kids tonight. They sat us in the front half of the restaurant which is more for like families. The back half of the restaurant is more like a bar and has tables for older parties. I have the Mole enchiladas which were excellent. Great chips and salsa and a very decent margarita. We also ordered... More

Just an awful experience! It was unclear who was waiting on us..ends up really no one was. The people beside us arrived after us, ordered, got their beer, waters and food before us. Our "server" came out as they were about to leave asking us to confirm our order??? There were just two of us? We never got water, they... More

We ate here with our friends last night with our friends. We started with top shelf margaritas. They were very good served in large goblets. We then had the pork quesadilla and the shredded pork plate. All was excellent with great service. Also prices were very reasonable. I would recommend it for a casual dinner.

Stopped by here to eat supper the night I arrived in Highlands. Service was attentive and knowledgeable. Made sure I knew what mole sauce was as some people do not know and she didn't want me to have a bad meal. Food was very good. Not your usual Mexican restaurant. More authentic choices.

Also had to ask for the food that was listed on the menu...not everything listed was included (avocado for example). Salty rather than intensely flavored..

No better palce to be on Cinco de Mayo than here! There was a bit of a wait as everybody in town knew how good El Azteca is on any give day, and celebration events make it even better!

Came to stay at the Old Edwards Inn and Spa. Madison's restaurant featured at the Inn was very good but the word-of-mouth Wulfgang Puck's less than mediocre food left us looking for more. We found El Azteco on our own. Fantastic care, service, drinks, and food finally left us ecstatically pleased. They should move to the Main Street--- amazing experience!... More

The food and service here were really good. Chips were light and crispy and the salsa was delicious. Fish tacos were great. Kids can eat for $5 including drink.
