You cannot beat the view! we were seated outside and the view of the lake is mesmerizing. The weather was absolutely perfect for an al fresca experience. We had a wonderful bottle of wine and the food was delicious! The dessert was the best I had all year as it was a REAL pound cake complete with the crispy top!... More

We made reservations for an early dinner having heard it could get very crowded. The service was excellent from the greeter to the wait staff. We enjoyed cocktails before our dinner. We opted for indoor dining but new terrace seating was offered. Trout stuffed with bacon and crabmeat was my husband's entree choice. He was not disappointed and ate every... More

This is our second experience. The food and service were excellent. The presentation was lovely. I recommend the fillet and save room for the mud pie dessert

a lovely locale, very attentive staff but the food was not up to par; e.g., the fish was served over underdone pilaf with an over-lemonized sauce that really overwhelmed the entire dish and the lobster risotto seemed to have lost much of its lobster on the way from the kitchen

Wonderful experience for dinner! The food was very good, only surpassed by the service - phenomenal! The best part was the serene outdoor seating in the garden overlooking the lake and the ducks. On a perfect summer evening - nothing better! For a birthday alone - it fit the bill of quiet, beautiful and perfect for all I was looking... More

Wonderful place to eat but a little tight with the tables! So the noise was a little high from other guest but was ok!

The only thing standing between very good and excellent hear, is noise level. Food and service are excellent with no complaints there, but management needs to have an expert analyze and resolve the noisy conditions.

Dinner was very nice. The service was friendly but not over attentive. There were a lot of specials to choose from. We started with the scallops and fried oysters. Both were very good. Entrées included the duck, filet, and grouper. My reason for 4 vs 5 stars is I thought a few of the courses were 'over sauced'. Portions were... More

The restaurant is on a small lake in Highlands. By far the prettiest place to have dinner in town. We have been coming here for many years but this is the first time under the new ownership. We were A little concerned because it was so good and sometimes when they change is not always for the better. I can... More
