Wonderful experience for dinner! The food was very good, only surpassed by the service - phenomenal! The best part was the serene outdoor seating in the garden overlooking the lake and the ducks. On a perfect summer evening - nothing better! For a birthday alone - it fit the bill of quiet, beautiful and perfect for all I was looking... More

Wonderful place to eat but a little tight with the tables! So the noise was a little high from other guest but was ok!

The only thing standing between very good and excellent hear, is noise level. Food and service are excellent with no complaints there, but management needs to have an expert analyze and resolve the noisy conditions.

Dinner was very nice. The service was friendly but not over attentive. There were a lot of specials to choose from. We started with the scallops and fried oysters. Both were very good. Entrées included the duck, filet, and grouper. My reason for 4 vs 5 stars is I thought a few of the courses were 'over sauced'. Portions were... More

The restaurant is on a small lake in Highlands. By far the prettiest place to have dinner in town. We have been coming here for many years but this is the first time under the new ownership. We were A little concerned because it was so good and sometimes when they change is not always for the better. I can... More

We sat outside for a lovely evening and view. The food was excellent and the service was great. Our dogs could join us which was a plus.

There were three couples in our party tonight at Lakeside. What a meal. The salads we chose were works of art. We had 4 different salads, a Lakeside Wedge, a Beet salad, a Tomato/shaved radish & goat cheese salad and Watermelon salad. Entrees were the lobster &shrimp risotto, local rainbow trout that was enough to serve 2 people, seared scallops, pork chops... More

Wonderful site for Sunday Brunch with close friends. Small, intimate and beautiful, a great place for a fantastic meal and to be able to visit with close friends or relatives. The vistas over the garden and across the lake are beautiful. The food was exceptional. Too often, in my opinion, Sunday Brunch is left overs from Saturday night. Lakeside however... More
