We love this restaurant. Whether it is for lunch or dinner. We have gone several times to both. The pizza is the REAL deal and the pasta dishes are great. Not sure I can give a rating on which we like better. We like you...can do pizza by the slice anytime.More

There is nothing good about this place. The service was terrible. The food was more like a frozen dinner. Unless you are a broke college student skip it.

In the area and stopped For dinner , have been here before but it has been a while. The overall restaurant could use some updating and deep cleaning Seated myself I ordered chicken Parmesan with spaghetti came with a side salad and bread overall was...good Service seems to be going down from what I remember from the past there were only three people in the restaurant eating at the time that I want in ,had my side salad and had eaten it before my tea came out and was not offered a refill and was half through with The chicken Parmesan spaghetti before my bread got to the tableMore

When this restaurant first opened about 30 years ago, its owner made sure all his dishes were of the highest quality. It was the only place in High Point with authentic Italian food. I was just back from a year in Italy, so it was...my favorite place to go for Italian food & conversation. On a return trip to the restaurant recently, however, it is evident that authenticity and quality has faded over the years. Of the several dishes ordered by our party, most were only mediocre, no different than you might find at the local K&W cafeteria: lasagna, tomato soup, caesar salad, eggplant parmigiana, chicken marsala. But one dish, one of their supposed house specialties, was downright disgusting: rotisserie chicken over rice. I hope I just caught them on a bad day, but here's my experience. There was lots of plain white rice, but it was devoid of flavor. The barely 1/4 cup of quarter-inch sized chicken bits sprinkled on top -giuro- must have been from day-old chicken, as the meat was dry and mealy-crumby-crumbly. Yuck! There was no hint of skin and no natural flavor, rotisserie spices or otherwise. The only flavor was from what they call 'BLL' sauce, which appeared to be a mix of chicken broth with lots of curry. The dish should be called white rice with curry slurry (hold the "chicken" please). The fries on the side were frozen, not fresh, and also had a bit of mealy texture, no flavor. If the original owner or his family is still in control of this restaurant and its newer location near Wendover, I sincerely hope they take a look at what they're producing and maybe modify their menu to omit some of the American-style dishes and focus on giving the best of what people come there for: Italian food. Greensboro is not that far away, with several excellent, authentic Italian restaurants.More

Lubrano's has been a family favorite for years. The baked ziti is one of the best, and the rotisserie chicken is excellent as well. The salad can be a little disappointing, and the dining area isn't that large. That said, there aren't many other Italian...places where you get this kind of bang for your buck!More

I had a steak Hoagie and my wife had a Chicken Cheese Steak Hoagie. We both raved over them. The bread they use for the sandwiches was outstanding. We had a restaurant.com certificate that required us to spend at least $20.00. Since the sandwiches were...under $7.00 each, we got an order of fries. They were good also. I also got two Newcastle Brown Ales to get us to our $20.00. They don't have draft beer but they have an excellent choice of bottled beers.More

If you got a LivingSocial voucher for this restaurant, return it for promotional value credit. Do not eat here. We order pasta dishes that were disappointing in their taste but that was not the problem. Our waitress forgot our cheesecake (though remembered to put it...on the check) and I wish we had forgotten it, too. It had mold growing on it...discovered after my first bite. I was getting ready to comment it tasted old and then my wife pointed out the mold. The waitress took it away without any apology and simply removed its cost from the check. When I went to the cash register to pay, the manager said I had to spend the full value of the voucher. I told him that the cost of the cheesecake had been removed because I sent it back for having mold. He made his record with no apology. I marked the voucher used and came straight home to warn you against this place. Ugh.More

Let me first begin that i am used to very good Italian food. I was anxious to try Lubrano's since I had heard this was a good restaurant. At least on this day and my meal I was disappointed with a very generic tasting sauce....To me the sauce is the foundation of a good Italian meal.More

Lubrano's food is so good! The roasted chicken has always been my favorite. They serve it in a variety of ways and my favorite is the calzone. Yum!
