I come here often when visiting the area because for under $15 I can get a quick meal and be on my way. There are no frills about this place, just a good basic meal without all of the theatrics of a Kabutos.

We have never been disappointed at Yamato's, whether it is for sushi or a plated meal. And it is one of the few places that everyone agrees on- even the grandchildren! The sushi chef who makes the delicious sushi (my grandson calls him "Smiley") never disappoints us. The sushi is fresh and well made. I think the service is fast... More

Service is very slow. On spring like days they have the front door open (to the outside) and there are lots of flies on these days. It's too hot, and the lights are off... an obvious money savings technique. As a customer this has become disappointing. For years I visited this restaurant but some days I leave more irritated than... More

Would not recommend the hibachi. It was tasteless and dry. We both got chicken hibachi. It came with shoestring cut zucchini and with onions although Larry got more onions than zucchini. Didn't matter though because it just wasn't very good and we each tried to moisten it and add flavor to it by getting a sauce on it but it... More

Portion sizes of their mediocre food were unimpressive for price, and then they argued with me about paying the price listed on their drink menu placard for a beer. Won't be back.

Eaten here several times for the hibachi entrees... they have sushi, too, if you are a fan. I have ordered their med rare filet and shrimp combo the last couple of times in... delicious! Tonight's filet came out closer ro medium and the owner/manager had a fresh order whipped up for me in minutes. The food is great and you... More

I order take-out from here at least once a week and I've never been disappointed. The owners are delightful and the sushi is always SO fresh.
