Great burgers! They have Bison, Angus, turkey, and veggie. I like the make you're own where you can choose your bun, meat, and lots of toppings (I like the Angus on wheat with avocado.) I also really like the homemade chips and their ranch is the best! Waitresses are nice and service is good speed.

We stopped in for supper on our way to a Crawdads game. We were greeted and promptly seated. Our waitress was friendly and very efficient, she was working mostly by herself. It had been some time since we had eaten at a Ham's but the Famous Hams Chips were as good as we remembered, hot and crisp. I had the... More

We had gone to Resource to make a donation and stopped at Hams on the way home for lunch. They had a make your own burger that was great. Pick the bread, meat, cheese, toppings, condiments. it was great. We both had one. Very good tea and coffee. Down side was the home made chips - they were greasy and... More

I visited this establishment for a business lunch. We decided to sit outside. It was rather windy, so the experience wasn't what I was hoping for. However, this was not the fault of the restaurant. That decision was on our group. On a pleasant day, I think the outdoor experience would be a good change of pace. They seem to... More

Stopped I for first time. We were looking for a quick dinner and decided to try Ham's. The smell was horrible. Old smoke stale grease the place was filthy. We had a beer and left. Too bad this could be a great local bar but needs a top to bottom thorough clean and replace of dirty torn benches /booths

After critiquing the last review I was a little skeptical about stopping here. Upon my arrival, I was welcomed as if I was not only a friend, but family at this place. I loved everything from ice cold beer to the nachos. The hospitable bartender was amazing and prompt to my requests. I couldn't help myself to venture down to... More

I sit at the bar usually to obtain better service as I travel alone. The bartender had no personality actually felt as if I was bothering her from the male patrons, most particularly the white bearded man at the end. Never smiled, spoke so low it was difficult to hear her and she rushed me along. The food was dry... More

I had passed by Hams of Hickory a couple times on the way to Blowing Rock, and my wife and I decided to stop in there on our last trip. We both really enjoyed it. The prices are quite reasonable, and we thought the food was excellent. The Kick'N Chicken sandwich was really good. The cucumbers on there were a... More

Small little restaurant located directly odd hwy 321 in Hickory. The food is traditional - burgers, salads, sandwiches, fries, etc. but nothing special. I have eaten here on 3 separate occasions and it seems no mater what I order, the food is excessively greasy. There are much better choices in Hickory.
