My review should have been done a year ago. My husband and I celebrated our wedding here. with 25 guests. We received excellent service before and during our meal. The price was fair and we were treated like royalty. The owner is very accommodating. I...cannot verify how they are dealing with the virus but I would not be afraid to dine here again based on the owner's hospitality and integraty.More

We’ve been coming to Hendersonville for years and this was the first time we’ve tried Renzo. It was great! We had lasagna and the pork chop. Delicious! And they brought out a special dessert for our anniversary that was great! We’ll definitely be back when...in town again! Great service!More

Four for dinner on October 7 to celebrate a birthday. Two of us had lasagna, one eggplant rollatini and I had veal saltimboca. It was a bit late so not crowded. The saltimboca had a great fusion of flavors-delicious! My wife loved her rollatini. Our...friends most certainly enjoyed their lasagna. The atmosphere/decor was funky cool. Last but not least, our server Jill was not just attentive but outstanding. Oh, and the birthday boy got a sparkler and we were given two desserts to help celebrate. The meal was well worth it. Highly recommend.More

We made this reservation for a birthday on our recent vacation in Hendersonville. They were so great to accommodate our party of six outside. We hadn't read any of the reviews so we weren't sure what to expect. But the place was so charming with...inviting music, the drinks were spectacular and the meal was Great! The Fettucine carbonara/bolognese was amazing. Our waitress Jill was a hoot! So funny and nice. The food, service and ambiance were great so I would certainly not hesitate to recommend this restaurant if you are in town. Also, the owner comes by to greet you once you are seated. very nice touch! 'More

My husband and I were driving through downtown Hendersonville last night and noticed these very quaint and intimate table settings out-front of this restaurant. The tables were nicely set with small candles with Fall decorations surrounding the tables. It was beautifully done and certainly caught...our attention. My husband & I decided to give Renzo's a try. We were greeted by Mr. Renzo himself! A very dapper looking gentleman and very well spoken. He brought us to at a table for two. Our server, George, was promptly at our table to take our drink orders, which apparently he mixes himself. Our drinks were superb! We then ordered the caprese salad as our appetizer, it was full of fresh flavors from the basil and tomatoes. The Mozzarella cheese was the perfect texture and flavorful. I ordered the Pork Pombardino which was a generous cut of local pork made with a delicious apple sage demi-glaze.......... oh my.......it was so delicious! My husband ordered the Veal Involitini Saltimboca which was veal wrapped in sage leaves. I'm not a veal lover, but I had a bite of this and it was amazingly delicious! Our first visit to Renzo's was very enjoyable and we loved everything about this quaint Ristorante! We will be back.More

Six of us dined at Renzo’s last night. The service was attentive and professional. The salmon and pasta was tasty, the steak was huge. The lasagna was on the small side. However the pasta alla Carbonara was terrible. The sauce was really thin and needed...more herbs and garlic, very bland. You could hardly see any pancetta. On the positive side, our server, upon finding that we were celebrating a birthday brought out sparkling candles and a dessert for the birthday girl. It was a nice touch. Overall the dinner was overpriced and nothing special.More

We were enjoying our stay here and discovering another restaurant in the historic town of Hendersonville. We started dinner with a caprese salad, followed by gluten free Spaghetti with meat balls and the Lasagna. I’ll give “5 stars“ for presentation But that’s where it stops....The dinner was nothing special, it kind of just sat there and did nothing. The tomatoes were not ripe on the caprese salad, the basil and the mozzarella were tough. The apple strudel was nothing to write home about and the ice cream was anemic. The server was excellent and the environment is eclectic and romantic.More

Mediocre food with a high price tag. The veal was tough, the seafood stew was tasteless. Probably won't go back.

We ordered from Renzo’s Restaurant for a special occasion dinner as we were really wanting something special after having quarantine food for over a month! We ordered the lobster ravioli, stuffed artichokes, slow cooked salmon and this amazing chocolate dessert that I have never had...before. We picked it up at his restaurant and it was packaged beautifully like a picnic in a wicker basket. We sat down to a lovely dinner, relaxed and felt incredibly spoiled. I later read that Renzo actually prepares and creates these meals for his gourmet menu himself. Thank you Renzo for a nice reprieve from this COVID normal!More
