Great atmosphere, good background music! I ordered the Super freak and my husband had the Local NC Nobel ginger cider, both very satisfying choices. I had the backed potato soup which was delicious, for entrees we had the seasonal vegetable platter which consisted of zucchini,...beets cauliflower, sweet potatoes, lady finger potatoes very well prepared and seasoned. I had the shrimp Scampi pasta which was amazing flavorful with its creamy pesto. Since dinner was so great we stayed and had two of their three desserts Dark chocolate Pot de creme and the Peanut Butter Semifreddo. The PB ended up being my favorite 😊 but the are both very good.More

The food was amazing and the service top notch! The crab hush puppies and duck liver pate are not to be missed! Love that you can buy a round of beers for the kitchen staff - they call it ‘Ring the Bell’!

We really enjoyed our meal! Our waiter was great. The braised beef and the Spring Greens/strawberry salad were delicious. My husband had the best Old Fashioned ever! The chocolate pot de creme was a perfect ending to a wonderful meal.

The atmosphere is stylish done including the historical aspects remaining in the building. The food was amazing from the appetizer to the desserts. What a hidden gem in Hendersonville

Our group of eleven made our annual trip to Hendersonville, NC, which was especially meaningful as we finally felt comfortable traveling. We had an incredible dining experience for dinner at Postero in every way possible. The drink menu was well-enjoyed, the salads, entrees, sides and...desserts were terrific, and even the bread we ordered was 10+. Our waiter, Zach, was absolutely perfect, in every way. The owners, Jason and Stephanie, are amazing and the quality of their food, their restaurant’s decor and their staffs service, were all EXCELLENT. If you visit Hendersonville, do not miss the opportunity to dine at Postero.More

Excellent meal. We were seated upstairs. Most tables were occupied. Wait staff wore masks. Tara looked after us and willingly adjusted the air temperature up as we requested. She was attentive but not intrusive- just right. The crabmeat hush puppies were the best ever. For...mains we had the shrimp scampi cacio e pepe which was excellent. The other orders were the trout and braised beef. All diners were very satisfied. The wine list is small and most if not all are available by the glass.More

We recently dined at Postero for my husband’s birthday and it was fantastic!! The service was excellent; all of the staff that we dealt with were incredibly friendly. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed all of it (we had nothing left over). We...brought along my 13 month old daughter and they were really accommodating with her. I can honestly say this is one of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time and will certainly return when we visit Hendersonville in the future!More

This was my second time visiting. The first was probably 2 years ago for dinner and it made a great impression. This time was for a drink on a Saturday afternoon during a staycation and the drinks were outstanding. Service at Postero is some of...the best you will find anywhere. The vibe is casual but upscale. The decor is well thought out and applied to every element in just the right amount. There is good sunlight during the daytime so you are reminded that you are part of the bustling downtown Hendo scene. Cocktails were unique and tasty with fresh ingredients to compliment a good bar selection including local spirits. We will be back soon.More

Crispy Brussel Sprouts were some of the best we have had. Shrimp Scampie and Seared Scallops were cooked perfectly with melt-in-your-mouth risotto. The atmosphere is upscale casual. The service was friendly with just the right amount of attentiveness without hovering. Highly recommend.

Last night I had the pleasure of dining at Postero for the second time. I was solo and was seated upstairs, comfortably distanced from other guests, and with a great view of the open kitchen. I was greeted by a friendly server, Jessie, who was...attentive and helpful all night long. Everything I ate (apps: smoked trout rillette, Postero Caesar salad; main: braised beef; dessert: peanut butter semifreddo) was bursting with flavor and expertly prepared. When Jessie asked me how the braised beef entree was, I responded that it was comfort food at its finest (chef's kiss)! Drink-wise, I can speak highly of the ginger ninja cocktail--unique and delicious, and the oh-so-smooth Louis Martini Cabernet. In short, this is THE place to eat in H-Ville. It's a stunner from start to finish. Go!More
