Good local spot for a drink. The staff is nice and the food was just ok. Stop by when resting and have a pint.

Once again, this restaurant used to be a favorite. Now the fish and chips are still terrible. Too much batter and they changed the batter. Also ordered fried green tomatoes and they used the same batter they used for fish. Threw it all out. If...you want a plate full of greasy fries with a tiny piece of thin greasy fish great. If not go somewhere else. This restaurant has gone downhill and we won't be back. Used to be a favorite. Prices up food diminished Whatever happened? Such a disappointment and will no longer recommend this place for fish and chips.More

This review is very simple. I am giving 5 stars because they have best chicken wings outside of New York. I am not taking about a zillion different flavors. This is meaty, cooked perfectly, crispy chicken wings with the perfect amount of sauce FYI, I...love hot wings. Their wings are perfect.More

staff was pleasant but we were disappointed they stopped serving at 2 p.m. on Fathers Day? place was a shambles, not the Irish atmosphere we were hoping to find. Beer was good.

Ate lunch here while visiting and doing some shopping downtown. We sat outside and our server was good and friendly. The Rueben sandwich was absolutely amazing, it alone would make us return. I can recommend this restaurant without hesitation.

The bar was less than half full, but the service was lacking. The waitress was slow to arrive (she served a table that came in well after us, first) and slow to come back when we needed something. One dish we ordered did not arrive....The food was fine in itself, but let down by the service.More

Great food and atmosphere. If you are a burger aficionado they make a killer burger. Nice selection of kraft beers and a full liquor bar. Black Rose has a nice small local pub feel with friendly servers and staff. Its a nicely decorated simple place...that serves very good food and drink. Prices are very reasonable and well worth it!More

This is a great little pub right in the heart of Hendersonville's revitalized Main Street center. Great service with super reasonable prices. Burgers were delicious as was the corned beef and cabbabe (although the cabbage could have been cooked a bit more). Atmosphere was nice...too. A great place to stop in for a beer and some food.More

We were there this past September and ate the best Reuben Sandwich we'd ever eaten! The menu as I recall was quite extensive. Google Black Rose Pub and do Menu-Pix & you can view their current menu.
