This was my second attempt in less than a month to eat at the Black Rose. The first time, our snotty little server gleefully told us that they were out of everything that we asked for! We were literally surrounded by other unhappy customers! On the second trip, we sat… And sat… And sat… Until my husband went inside and... More

We came in around noon on Saturday. Nothing special going on in town so it was quite with no crowd. A group of around eight servers were standing in the back. No one greeted us but one of the servers finally told us to just take any seat that we wanted. We sat outside and the server brought us a... More

Needing a place for dinner, my wife and I went to the Black Rose Pub. Being of Irish descent, it seemed like the right thing to do. It was the right thing to do. The shepherd's pie and fish and chips were delicious! The inner Irishman was happy. Next time you are needing dinner, go the Hendersonville and eat at... More

The Black Rose offers just what you'd expect and want from a pub of that name. Good, solid, well prepared pub grub. Service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is spot on pub style.

This was rather disappointing, however, I was full when I left so the goal was achieved. Service left a bit to be desired, and neither I nor my friend were impressed with the food. Not sure I would return.

If you are live in Hendersonville or visit it, you should go to Black Rose Pub and try their burger and their cocktails! First time I went there for New Years Eve and it was SO fun! The staff was so helpful and the environment was friendly. The food ABSOLUTELY delicious. The prices ABSOLUTELY reasonable. You should give it a... More

Some of the best wings around. Great burgers. Awesome beer selection. Front patio seating and back porch. Bar atmosphere after 8 or so.
