We like to stop here in our way back from the mountains. I had the hamburger and my husband had the fish & chips. Always consistently good food.

Service. Our waiter, David, was first rate. He was efficient, and made sure our party got what what we wanted. Food was as good as the staff. Lot of places to eat in the area. Some may be more trendy but none will match the...More

The Irish menu is very good. They have a lot of draft beers and sure one you would like. They will let you sample the beers to find the one that will suit you. The service was fast!

While visiting family in the area, my husband and I went here for dinner. I had the best Shepherd's pie and brown bread I've ever had. And it was so much food, I was unable to finish it all. Our server was very friendly and...More

Give it a try. Beers. People like beers. The "HAMWICH" got a thumbs up from my dining companion. The chicken and waffles got a thumbs up from me. What else would you order in a pub other than chicken and waffles? The service was the...More

We don't have swinging kitchen doors, and we only have one location. I don't own any other restaurants. Are you sure you're reviewing the right pub? Matt Johnes, owner 828-329-4788

Beer was cold, fries and okra were good but fish and burger were ok at best. Service wasn't anything to write home about either. Would come back for drinks but that's it.

An old style feel to a nice bar, why they don't serve draft beers is a mystery to me, I mean come on, Yuengling beer in a bottle?????, I'd go again to eat but with such a beer policy I sure wouldn't go for a...More

We have 13 beers on tap, and have for the past 23 years. I'm not sure how you could have gotten the idea that we don't have draft beer. I appreciate the kind words about the food and service, but the claim that we don't...More
