Best breakfast in the area. Wonderful corn beef hash. Good coffee, good service, good food and good people. We like Ashley as our server. She is really cool! You can't go wrong here.

This is where there locals eat breakfast. It is a friendly, active little restaurant that serves a wide variety of breakfasts from standard egg and meat plates to fancy pancakes. The coffee is good and they keep your cup full. It is not a fancy place; actually a little eclectic. Glad it is in the neighborhood.

Seriously, I felt like I time traveled back to my Grandma's kitchen. Grits were great; food was hot; coffee was black; and the conversation veered from serious to funny. Very much a locals place but "outsiders" are made to feel like part of the family in the blink of an eye. Friendly waitress who kept the coffee cups and water... More

This little diner reminds me of a different era. The eclectic décor is simple, with mismatched pieces -- chotskies you might find at Grandma's house clutter the walls. When you walk through the door, except to be greeted with a perky "hello" or "good morning" from one or more of the friendly staff members. No one is a stranger here.... More

We happened to find this little diner on one of our travels through Hendersonville, NC. It was packed with cars so we thought we would stop and have breakfast. Found this place on restaurant.com otherwise would never have found it. I had the sausage gravy biscuit with homemade corned beef hash. Both were really good! My wife had the hash with home fries covered in onions, peppers, cheese, etc. Both were excellent. Service was quick and friendly and prices were very reasonable.

We drive 45 minutes for a great breakfast at Dixie's, it's that good. Before you narrow your choices down to the sampler, an omelet or the french toast, be sure to hear about the specials. Yesterday's eggs benedict featured grilled chewy ham between the English muffin and the perfectly poached egg, topped with freshly made Bernaise; and the peach waffle... More

This is definitely a place the locals come every morning for breakfast, and that means it's good. Coffee was excellent, bacon was crispy and the eggs were cooked just to my liking. My husband loved the biscuits, and I loved the home fries. Good home style cooking.

Recently when we were traveling we had breakfast at Dixie Diner. I'm not a big fan of breakfast but I do love biscuits with sausage gravy. They have the perfect ones, the biscuits were light & fluffy and large. The gravy had just the right amount to sausage and seasoning in it. They have this on the menu as a... More
