We both had the brisket sandwich plate and it was quite good. Right on Main Street so you can't miss it.

We had a wonderful Saturday lunch at Moe’s. We had pulled pork plate and a fried catfish plate. The pork was moist and tender. The catfish was lightly battered and fried perfectly. The sides were fantastic. The best collard greens I’ve ever eaten. The cornbread...is buttered and grilled and very yummy. We will be back!More
We had lunch there. BBQ pork sandwiches. I had the children's portion, not feeling well and glad I did. Spouse had the regular size. Excellent BBQ. Nice and clean inside. Parking is at a premium since it's close to downtown. Would definitely go again when...in townMore
Visited here upon the suggestion of the Heritage Museum staff. Food was good and modestly priced. No frills meal and service.
Hadn’t read about this restaurant before visiting it. But the food and the employees could not have been better. Smoked chicken, squash casserole, greens, Mac and cheese, smoked chicken salad, and corn bread. All of it was excellent. And very reasonably priced. We three ladies...were way beyond just satisfied.More
I had my doubts by looking at online info but husband wanted local bbq so we want. You order at the entrance stand, there isn't table service per se. Tired looking surroundings, food was good, portions smallish, paper napkins and plastic utensils. It wasn't great...to me but I wish them well.More
This is my first time with Alabama BBQ and I gotta admit it was really good. I ordered the ribs which were really meaty. I really liked the ribs but I loved the sides: the corn bread was moist and delicious, the Brunswick stew was...amazing (didnt even know what that was) as was the grilled corn (never had this before either). The hostess was very helpful in picking menu items and in selecting a local beer. It was a beautiful day so I at outside and enjoyed the street view. Service was warm and friendly. Food was really good and you do not leave hungry!More
Our family of nine ate here for lunch, we liked it. You order at the front counter and they bring the food to your table. Not a long wait, staff was friendly. Prices weren’t high and all meals came with a soda/tea included. Pulled Pork...sandwich was very good, their sauce was excellent. The thing that made this place stand out was their cornbread. Usually that would be just an afterthought but it had the consistency of French Toast and was awesome.More
The place doesn’t look like much from outside but the BBQ was good! The ribs were fall off the bone and good flavor. The wings were crispy. The Brunswick stew was probably the best I’ve had. And they had cabbage for St Patrick’s Day, it...was yummy! Would definitely recommend and would go back if in the area.More
Great for take-out these days. They try to make everything satisfying. Open 7 days a week. Great location.
Not being a big meat or bar b que eater, I was a bit hesitant to have lunch at Moe's. It turned out to be a delicious decision! The salad was exceptionally fresh and the pulled chicken was superb!
We really like the smoked chicken wings and the collard greens. Some of the best we've had. And the prices are very reasonable.
On a windy, sunny Saturday I went to Moes Barbque for lunch with a friend. We had to wipe off our table since the tables aren't wiped by staff that I have EVER seen during lunch! I covered our places with paper towels. Our food...came hot and fresh. The pulled pork was delicious, the buns being well filled, although, I wish they had a sweet sauce. My friend got the Brunswick stew which she said was good and the mac and cheese. With my sandwich, I got the regular potato salad and green pepper cold slaw, all of which was good. They let the drink counter run out of lemon by 12:30 pm which is unacceptable. It couldn't have been very full at the beginning of lunch!More
Most tender bbq ever. Collards and baked beans also very good. Ate there Friday for lunch and the 4 of us were all very pleased.
We have been going to Moe's for years, usually for lunch but occasionally we'll have dinner there, especially around Christmas because Hendersonville's lights and decorations are very pretty. We've taken friends and out of town guests because the food has been consistently good. Tonight was...a very different situation. We were greeted with, "We're out of a lot of things." which was fine, we understand, but then we saw the curtains were closed and the chairs were piled up on the front tables. It looked awful and we were told one of the tables was wiggly. We had hoped to enjoy looking out the window at the lights while we're eating so I asked about sitting upstairs but was told it was locked. The pulled pork and sides arrived quickly but unfortunately was not of the same quality we expected from all of our previous visits. The pork was luke warm and about one third of it was fat. The slaw and beans were old- maybe from lunch or even the weekend before. We were very grateful we didn't bring anyone else with us tonight. In time we might give it another try, but it would definitely be for lunch when things should be fresh.More
