The food was awesome! I had a hot dog & snack shrimp with fries and absolutely loved it. The owner was friendly and took time to speak for a moment during a small down time he had. This was a good find for me in...Hendersonville, I’ll for sure be back!More

A great find! Looking for a good hot dog after a day in downtown. This ended up being a nice find. Our group had dogs, hamburgers and chicken tenders. The homemade french fries were amazing. The variety on the menu was nice we will have...to try something new next time! What really topped it off was good service from a friendly staff!!More

This place has great hot dogs, or burgers. Great for food on a holiday. The seafood is excellent, too!!

The hotdogs are nothing special. I primarily go when the overflow at Hot Dog World is too long. They advertise New York Cheesecake which is served frozen. Tough to enjoy frozen cheesecake. The staff is friendly but the product is just average.

My husband and I stopped in on our last night of our Hendersonville NC trip. We passed this place a few times thinking it was fast food. So glad that we read up on it further. I've been craving fried clams, but of course there...aren't many fresh offers in TN. Tom, the owner ( who is a really friendly guy btw ) has the seafood flown in from Maine! It tastes so fresh. My husband had the shrimp basket, which he loved. We had to share a bowl of his clam chowder soup too...delicious! Everything from the different hot dogs to burgers sounded good. You need to try it for yourself. Sure wish we lived closer, but we will go again!More

After reading all the rave reviews about the authentic Maine Lobster Roll I couldn't wait to try it out. I'm a native of Maine and been craving a taste of home ever since I moved to S.C. I'm not going to say it was bad,...I would describe it as disappointing. It just didn't have the fresh taste of the Lobster Roll I grew up eating and the big disappointment was the serving size was tiny for a $20 Lobster Roll. I would describe it as a Lobster Slider with gobs of mayonnaise.More

We went here for lunch one day. We both got the dogs and onion rings. We would definitely go back again.

DH and I swung in here after seeing the sign boasting of Maine lobster rolls - what the heck? Let's give it a go. Well it turned out to be a really nice surprise. Turns out the owner is from Maine and had his own...seafood restaurant there for years. So he knows what he's doing. It was a healthy serving, fresh tasting and as close as you can get to the real thing in Maine w/o having to go there, at least based on our recollection. We also enjoyed the sides, pretty good fries and cole slaw - couldn't actually finish our plates. Because of the cost we probably won't do this too often, but it was great nostalgic treat. The only thing we would have liked is a little lower cost option to buy just the roll without the sides instead of buying more food than we needed. (You know couples can share). Otherwise great!More

If you're in the area I would suggest that you try them out before visiting the local fast food restaurants and judge them for yourselves.

When we want a good hotdog, we go to Great American Dog. They’re large, with natural casing and cooked just right. They’re not cheap but they’re the best you can find in Hendersonville. We only go to Hot Dog World when they have a coupon....Frankly they’re just not worth the money at their regular price. When we eat there, we always end up saying that at least it was cheap and wishing we’d gone to Great American Dog instead.More
