First stop was to get coffee on a cold Dec morning while waiting on the Christmas parade. Came back after the crowds and bought rye bread, cookies, eclairs, cheese straws and a couple other items for the 4 of us. I was really surprised to find the prices as reasonable as they were - especially in the middle of a... More

My husband and I split an apple fritter and a honey dipped donut. They were good. Felt sick from all the sugar and fat the rest of the day. They were out of my favorite vanilla cream donuts.

The smell of heaven hits you the minute you walk in the door. And this isn't a case full of pastries that just look good but have no taste. These are delicious! I had the almond strudel and loved it! If you like the flavor of amaretto, this one is for you!!

Stopped to see what they had and by the crowd on a Saturday afternoon was obviously a great selection. Had a variety of goodies for the group and everyone was great. Give it a try.

McFarland bakery on Main Street has been a Hendersonville institution for decades. The sweet smells drift down the street and pull you right in the door! We have requests from out-of-town family and friends to "bring the cinnamon rolls" to every reunion and vacation! Thanks for all the sweet memories!

The shop was wonderful: the people were very friendly. They had a big display of cakes and pastry. Everything was very fresh.it was hard to select one thing out of all those goodies. I had a blackberry turnover and a cup of coffee. The turnover was delicious. If I could, I would have one of each pastry. It was hard... More

I will get off of I26 at Hendersonville just to stop at this bakery. Homemade breads, doughnuts, cakes and cookies. Excellent quality, prices and service. Everything looks and tastes so delicious that it's hard to make a selection.

It is always a pleasure to visit McFarlan's bakery, not just for the plethora of goodies they offer for sale, but each and every person who works there is always happy and helpful. Always buy a large box of donuts with a mixture of filled and plain. Custard filed with chocolate icing is my personal favorite.

Delicious, fresh baked cakes, pies, & pastries. A landmark of downtown Hendersonville. Try the apple fritters.

One word: WOW! Everything from cookies, bread, cakes, pies and the best eclairs you have ever seen. Enough said.
