The store is very cool, it’s basically a giant hardware store, garden supply store and housewares store wrapped in one. They have some essential oils and natural products as well as bird supplies and pipe fittings. The restaurant has a long wait if you go...More

Thanks for visiting...we are so very sorry you're experience was ho-hum. You are very right, we only make homemade, regular food, as anyone in the U.S. does. ;-) and yes, the wait gets long for our tiny dining room, especially on no-school-days, Saturdays and holidays....More

We waited about 45 minutes to be seated and we were there around noon (they close at 2 on Saturdays). There is a pretty extensive garden, gift and gadget shop to browse through while you are waiting. It is a hardware store with everything from...More

I’ve eaten here twice both times were excellent. The French toast is huge and delicious. The butter syrup to die for. The bacon thick, crispy, and tasty. The lines are long but well worth the wait.

We saw Yoder's on UNC television. We love to explore NC. It was not a disappointment. It was like going to Grandma's for Sunday dinner. It was worth the 30 minute detour from our trip to New Bern. The staff is friendly. and the food...More

Several co-workers and I gathered together for breakfast. It was awesome! Fortunate we had arrived early to get a table. Yoder’s is well known and the wait time gets long. But the experience is worth the wait. The Dutch know how to treat!!

Description
We are a Mennonite-owned and run bakery and restaurant serving breakfast and lunch. We are well-known locally for our bread, cinnamon rolls and amazing 1-inch tall slices of French toast made with our home-made bread and served with our own butter syrup. We serve home-style foods like eggs, pancakes and biscuits for breakfast, with sandwiches, salads and a daily special for lunch. Saturday's are especially busy with long waits. Groups of over five diners can expect the longest wait. Due to our limited dining area we do not take reservations on Saturdays or over holidays. Hope to see you soon!
