I've had business lunches several times at Nino's, and if that is an indication, their dinners should be great. My experience so far is in the salad area, and they have some good choices. The food choices of my lunch companions have always looked yummy,...and no one was complaining! Laid back atmosphere and layout is conducive to business discussions.More

When it comes to dining out, I want a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service, good drinks, and good food. When entering the restaurant you walk under a canopy of soft white lights and then are greeted by a hostess who has a genuine nice smile....My first time at the restaurant I was there for an informal business meeting in Dec 2019. I noticed the restaurant was steady with what appeared to be regular guest. I sat the bar, far left near the corner; it was a little over half full. Right away the bartender walked over to ask how I was doing and just made a recommendation for a drink without me even asking. It reminded me of being at a family members home... I had their Mule, as recommended and the person I was with ordered a drink that was smoked with fire. It was fun to watch the bartender to prepare. As an appetizer I order the Honey Roasted Shrimp and dinner the Seafood Cannelloni. After the first bite of the shrimp, I was mad because I had to share. They were fried crispy but I knew they were fresh because they had a slightly sweet taste without the accompanying sauce, and they were soft but firm. If you are shrimp lover you know exactly what I am talking about. Next up was the Seafood Cannelloni, it was more than enough; arriving in a large white bowl (12 inches). In my opinion the sauce is always the best part. Their vodka sauce was rich and creamy, I closed my eyes at the first taste, and that bite didn't even have the seafood, the sauce was just amazing. Once I got to the pasta and seafood, I was sold. There were chucks of lobster, shrimp, and scallops folded into a cannelloni that had its only little sauce. It was layered with flavor that you discover with each bite. I knew that was going to be my secret local Italian spot reserved for people who are my friends and family. My next visit was take out, Jan 2020. I ordered by phone; I had to call twice, which was a little frustrating. Over the phone I ordered the Seafood Cannelloni again, and inquired about their desserts. I asked about their cheesecake; but decided to hold off because I had some cupcakes at the house. I really wanted some cheesecake. When I arrive at the restaurant to pick up my food, there were people standing outside waiting to get a seat, it was PACKED. There were three talented kids set up playing jazz in the lobby of the bar. The atmosphere was set for you to eat, drink, and be happy around family and friends. At that point I realized why it took so long to get through to place my order, so I was forgiving. I gave the hostess my name and told her to add the cheesecake to my order. She told me, with a huge smile, she already did, and it was on the house. Now that is service. The ability to predict what a guest wants before they request it means you're in tune to non verbal cues. That just made me happy. I will start with the cheesecake, it was smooth like velvet, and had enough raspberry sauce drizzled on top. Enough raspberry to have with each bite. The Cannelloni was OK still layered with flavor but I recommend ordering when you have time to sit-in the restaurant and enjoy. I will be returning; it is a great restaurant.More

My family hosted a birthday party here & the staff was amazing. Entrees are a bit pricey & portions are huge (unlike “real” portions in Italy). I have spent time in Italy, and I can assure you that most of the menu items are not...something you would find to be authentic, however, for an American Italian restaurant, it’s definitely better than a chain restaurant. It was very loud & hot, but service was very good. It seems to be a popular place for large groups, so I didn’t find it to be very cozy or romantic. It’s worth trying & I would definitely choose it over any Italian chain restaurant.More

We recently visited Nino’s for a date night. Looking for a low-carb option, I decided to try the porkchop. Not only is it the best chop in town, it’s one of the best pork chops I’ve ever eaten. The prep and presentation isn’t fancy but...the flavor and quantity will blow you away. Definitely a hidden gem on their menu. Service was great as well. We will definitely be back!More

A trip to Greenville is not complete without dinner at Nino's. I've never had a better meal anywhere. I'd love to try the Cacio e Pepo (it looks amazing) but I can't stop ordering the Saltinbocca. And the cannoli - don't even get me started.

We went to Nino's for dinner on a Saturday night. They were surprisingly not very busy. I ordered the Fettucini Alfredo with Chicken. It was good but I felt there was too much sauce. I didn't feel like the amount you get was worth the...money. The service was great but the food was not as great as I was expecting.More

Our daughter told the waiter she was deathly allergic to some certain ingredients. He verified it was safe and then comes by 10 minutes later saying “oh how long would it take for you to have a reaction if it does have the allergens?” Our...server was not attentive to that and pretty much not attentive to our entire meal.More

I cannot remember, but if its on the menu I always ask if it is made in-house. As I did not order it, it either was not on the menu, or was not made in-house (if its not rolled off a fork, its not home-made).
