Tokyo is a regular stop for me both as a place for business lunches and for take-out for supper. Quality is first-rate, service is friendly and prompt. If you've not tried it before, and you like sushi, put Tokyo Japanese Restaurant on your list.

My son is a student at ECU and loves sushi so while visiting for the weekend I looked on TripAdvisor for some good places to sushi dine. After our movie we stopped at Tokyo Japan. The servers were nice and friendly. My son ordered a 3 sushi variety and miso soup. I ordered the Hibachi steak, shrimp and scallops with... More

A small place with lots of flavor . Difficult to get to due to traffic but well worth the effort . The freshest and friendliness place for Japanese sushi , udon and sashimi in the area . The crab salad is outstanding but get the sashimi platter .

Good selection of Sushi, Salmon rolls were my favorite, but it was all great tasting, friendly service, and a pot of green tea! You can't go wrong! Enjoy!

This is a great place! Best gyoza and edamame! Great sushi and wonderful cooked meals. Seaweed salad is great. The restaurant is beautiful. Service is always good. Only bad thing is that the scallops are skate I think... but still good.

I have never been to Japan. I have heard many stories about Japan from many of my Marine friends. Each one of them told me that they would return there if they had the chance. Hearing their stories make Japan seem mythical at times. One of the main reasons to visit Japan is the food. The legendary sushi is the... More

We have been eating at Tokyo once a week for years. The Sushi is excellent and always fresh. The staff has very creative options and the customer service is wonderful. Hot options from the kitchen are also delicious. This is our favorite restaurant in Greenville. Try the Manhattan and Hawaii rolls and tell Lynn and Spider I said hello.
