The BBQ is moist with little to no gristle. The atmosphere is friendly and very family oriented. Service is great I just hate that they sometimes run out of food before I can get there.

While sometimes these hole in the wall places can be hidden gems this one is not!!Just awful food - the best thing about the place is the sauce.

Don't miss out On this place. Their sauce is the best I have ever had and I don't even like chicken. BBQ is top notch.

Ok so his is a little hole in the wall place. It has been the same little white building/house it has always been since I was a little girl. I would say atleast 25 yrs ago. It has a good Ole southern homey country feel to it. The only downside is the eating area inside is very small and it... More

B's has really good, lean barbecue, so it's easy to get a healthy meal here. I stopped in for a barbecue and slaw sandwich recently and bought bulk barbecue, slaw, and potatoes to take to my daughter and family in Chapel Hill. She was thrilled because we all love their barbecue. Don't be fooled by the old building, there is... More

Don't be fooled by the outward appearance of B's Barbecue. Go in. Wait in line. Eat the chicken and barbecue. And go early - just not on a Sunday or Monday!

If you are looking for a quiet, elegant restaurant look elsewhere! This place has THE BEST pulled pork barbecue (Eastern Carolina vinegar based style) and chicken, but you need to go early and don't except to be waited on. You'll find everyone lined up at the door: farmers, doctors, tradesmen, lawyers - you name it. They finally have some tables... More

Well, the food..is ott.. the restaurant space, .you would want to do take out. It is a shack., in the most Southern sense of the word. However, there is a Food Network winner 15 miles away. Going for exposure....and has excelled. But, if you are a connoisseur of bbq... and I just get the bbq sandwich with southern coleslaw and... More

The grilled chicken is the best! My boyfriend went to B's just to purchase 10 whole chickens. This is hands down the best grilled chicken. And the sauce is great too. I also ordered the bbq and it was the bomb!!!

Some NC barbecue has too much vinegar and you can't taste the pork. We ordered a pint of barbecue and they gave us some au jus on the side. I didn't need any - it was juicy enough just the way it was and the pork flavor was great! My only complaint is that they are not open on Saturdays... More
