This is what I would expect from a sushi place in Goldsboro; small portions of fish, okay service, and nothing really outstanding overall, from the environment to the food. HOWEVER I know that Goldsboro does better at some of the other local places like Jays, so I'll be going to another place if I had time. Still, if I was starving, really couldn't do without sushi, didn't want to drive to one of Jays restaurants, and needed to go to Walmart or the Dollar Tree, I'd stop here. Sorry Sakura, I know it's not a ringing endorsement.

Not my first visit. Wanted normal fried rice, not Chinese yellow fried rice. Ordered online for pickup. When I arrived, got the same usual service, like "why are you here bothering me?" If they are family members, it doesn't feel like a happy family. Anyways, order was not ready 29 minutes after ordering. Why? They hadn't started it. Excuse was, "we weren't notified". No "I'm sorry, we'll throw in some egg rolls". Simply "it'll be about 20 minutes". I then got "your order is ready". Again, no apologizes. In the end, the food is okay. Nothing special. The customer service is awful. Guess I need to find somewhere else.for Japanese fried rice.

I love this place for a quick bite before heading to work. I always get their Goldsboro roll. All their sushi’s are super affordable and delicious. The customer service is also amazing. I will always recommend this spot. The best sushi spot I’ve tried.

Wanting to try Sakura Express we decided to order 3 different sushi rolls for take out. Firstly, ask how long it will take for your order!!! We were told 20 minutes initially until we turned to leave and they agreed to make them immediately. The Rainbow Roll (in my experience typically has different colored fish all across the top of the roll, hence RAINBOW, with cucumber and crab inside) had a few extremely thin sliced pieces of fish and mostly AVACADO along the top. Inside was simply, thin strips of cucumber. Most rolls on the menu include cream cheese, a filler I don't want. The crab roll we ordered appeared to be some sort of imitation, perhaps, pollack, something I don't want. The last roll we ordered was passable. All rolls had very little fish and were a disappointment. NEVER GOING BACK

I loved this food and i ended up eating a lot of it. I got the veggie yakisoba. what was too bad was when i was oacking it for lunch the next day, there was a small dead caterpillar in my food.

Love love love this place. They are super nice and the place is always clean and they never get our order wrong or even skip a beat.

This establishment is the the best I have had since I moved to the area from Maryland. My husband and I were a little apprehensive about trying this place, as we knew it was located in a rural area and probably, in our opinion, wouldn't compare to the quality of food we were accustomed to. However, we were pleasantly surprised and have been regulars! The food is fresh and prepared perfectly: not over or undercooked. We love it!
