Visit Wilber's for the Barbecue, not the decor. Yes, it's a little shabby thru much use. If you want to taste Eastern NC style Barbecue at its best go to Wilber's.

This has been a landmark location where locals and travelers to the beach eat Eastern NC BBQ. Their methods and look haven't changed much in the many years they've been in business. My last visit was to get take-out of a couple of pounds of BBQ. They prepare the take-out order in front of you. Their BBQ is always seasoned... More

This is one of the worst restaurants in the Goldsboro area.I guess everyone has their own opinion. I am not from the south and I am not accustomed to I guess they say BBQ. I would not eat here again.

Is becoming worn. No longer excepts credit cards. Potato salad is mushy and mustard base. Being a local we have watched the restaurant deter ate. This is probably due to the owner's retirement.

I have been eating at this restaurant for 45 years and the food always is delicious and a bang for your buck. Stopped there last weekend on their Friday night fish fry and I never saw such a huge helping of flounder that was fried just right and such sweet and delicious fish. Had two sides and desert along with... More

This is my favorite place to eat when in the Goldsboro, NC area. It is a local favorite. I am a barbecue nut. The barbecue (pulled pork) plate is delicious (not to dry) and the hush puppies are outstanding. It also comes with delicious slaw (cole slaw)

The NC BBQ sauce was as anticipated but the meat itself was flavorless, the best part of the meal were the hush puppies. Waitress brought the wrong meal to the table, left the meal on the table, returned 2 minutes later to return the meal to the kitchen! Hope the guy who got that plate enjoyed his meal!! Never again.

Everyone was super duper nice and I enjoyed the food but the meat was vinegary. I guess that's the style of cooking here in the east part of the state, which is okay just not my favorite in my opinion. If you go, order a bowl of chicken gravy and dip your hush puppies in that bad boy.

Food was off the chain. People say they don't stop because they don't have buffet. They have family style it's buffet brought to the table. They don't question you when you want more they bring to much. You don't have to fight the crowd at buffet and peoples hands all over your food.

The food was delicious!!! The cole slaw and potato salad was some of the best I've ever tasted! The bbq, hush puppies and fresh corn on the cob was also delicious!
