85th birthday party

My husband grew up in the area and says his family has been coming here since he was a little boy. His uncle recently had an 85th birthday party there; everyone really enjoyed! Staff was outstanding in accommodating everyone (place was packed besides 3 parties) and food was fast and delicious... read more

I grew up in Gastonia and totally understand the fish camp concept.....but have been away for a while. Yes, the parking is awful, the place is outdated and kind of smelly-the tables have vinyl table cloths-the place is crowded and loud, the wait staff is busy and overworked.....you'll get a ton of food, but lots and lots and lots of... We had dinner here with our daughter and grandchildren on a recent visit. We were promptly greeted and seated. Drink orders came quickly (I was impressed with choice since they had BOTH Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi so my wife and I both got our favorites). I had the half order of Flounder fillets, my wife had the half order... More

This fish camp as it's called and not like a Red Lobster or other seafood places. It's just out of this world great seafood, never frozen, cooked to order and very reasonably priced. Twin Tops has been here for well over 30 years and you'll never go wrong eating here!

Don't expect anything fancy. But do except insane portions of fried southern goodness. I had a whole flounder, which would have easily served two. My wife had the all-you-can-eat snow crab which was very reasonable and very well done (she knows her sea food as she is from MD originally). Recommended for a simple and satisfying meal, with really friendly... More

My girlfriend had told me all about this place since we've been together. We finally went on the way home from Myrtle beach. It was great. I ordered the whole flounder which was very good. She got a combo platter and she loved it. The place has a small town, hometown feel to it. I thought it was hysterical that... More

Outstanding experience. The food was great, all you can eat crab legs at a reasonable price and they snapped until the end. Sometimes all you can eat crab legs get rubbery at the end but not here. The service was excellent, like being at home with cool and funny relatives. Can't wait to go back.

Always a favorite I enjoy each time I visit Gastonia. The fish is fantastic and unbelievable portions for the prices, great hush puppies, and the free salad bar is worth a trip on its own. Friendly service too.

Been going here since I was a child. The staff is friendly, the food is great. Nothing fancy, but good eats! Still get excited by the candy store in the lobby following our meal!
