I had read on TA that prices were high but not really an issue for me so I went to try the "famous" fried chicken. The chicken was very good and I agree the prices are high. What bothered me was the 27 cent charge for a drink refill. The original was 2.00 and mostly ice. The clientele was all... More

I love the chicken but to me its some what a little high. They serve everything on paper plates. You get a large piece of chicken and hushpuppies are round and ok. Tea is pretty good. Some days are pretty busy depending on the time you go so if your going around lunch time be prepared to wait a while... More

Have had the pleasure of eating the shrimp, fish and chicken. All were wonderful. Just remember to take cash, no cards.

A place I often end up when eating alone. It's a great local place that had great food. The quality is consistent.

The chicken was pretty good, this is more of a fast food restaurant in my opinion. Order from the counter in front and pick up your order which is served in a paper boat basket inside of a paper bag. Cash only!

Based on the other reviews Shrimp Boat is overrated. Unless you like crusty, greasy fried chicken and shrimp. Over-priced for what it is. There are better alternatives.

I'm not a fried chicken kinda person, but when I want fried chicken, I'll take Shrimp Boat every time over any other chicken restaurant. The shrimp and fish are also excellent. Great value for great food.
