Love this place. Never disappointed. Have to wait in season so allow plenty of time. Water while you wait is nice when it is hot. Have cash.

It's located in the side off The Hotspot, but you'd never know it. Decorated very tasteful. Extensive menu. We ordered the crab bisque. Excellent, not to be missed. Bread and olive oil combo excellent as well. Entrees: I got the shrimp basil orso. It was very good, but I'm not a big pasta person. My 2 companions ordered the roast... More

I have heard about this restaurant for a while now. Never went for various reasons. Big mistake. This is going to be the first place we stop when we're near Franklin. It was fantastic. They have great service as well as food. I could not believe how little we spent for such fantastic food. My husband had the pot roast.... More

On our first visit here, we were too full to enjoy any dessert (the Italian wedding cake had been recommended). We opted for appetizers only but even those were huge and made a meal. The cake was good but a tad too sweet for our taste. Waiter was very attentive and we'll return here again as it's our favorite restaurant... More

Make sure you bring cash!!! No credit cards here! Great food! Very nice inside with waiters in traditional black and white. It is attached to a gas station but once inside you will never know!

A very non-descript place from the outside but a nice, friendly, comfortable place inside. The menu is extensive and they always have one or two great specials as well (rack of lamb for ex.). The food is better than very good! The service is excellent. AND, it's all quite reasonable!! One suggestion: since they don't take reservations and there is... More

We'd have to agree w/ some of the other reviewers while the ambiance/ decor and service are very nice, and food presentation lovely...the execution of the food was very disappointing. The pasta was overcooked and the beef wellington was just bad. Undercooked pastry dough, gooey meat, definitely wouldn't recommend. The rest of the meal was just okay, with the dessert... More

One of the best places to eat in Franklin.. We have tried almost everything on the menu & haven't found anything we didn't like.. Our fave is the Charleston Shrimp & Grits ... The desserts are delicious but we never have room after our meal so a to go piece of chocolate cake might be in order..Most requested restaurant of... More

If you're looking for a bit of an upscale culinary treat, this is the place. Chef Richard brings his wealth of culinary experience to the table, and delivers consistently. Don't be turned off by the fact that it's in a gas station!
