I went in to have a sandwich and came out with soup, sandwich and a variety of assorted and delicious pastries. Yum. And I keep going back. Family owned and operated, great folks and great food. But you need to get in there early for soup, people know about it and it goes fast. Cuban sandwich and Cuban pastries all... More

Just can not get enough of the Guava pastries (both with cheese and without). Also, the berry pastry is fantastic. Large selection of foods that I did not try, but the place always smells delicious.

On our return to Ellijay, GA from a week's vacation in Hendersonville, NC, we stopped in Franklin for the first time. We parked on Main St., looked around for a place to have a coffee break and saw Life's Bounty. Glad we did. My wife loved their coffee. I get my caffeine fix from Pepsi. We enjoyed a cinnamon bar,... Curb appeal no, but when you enter be prepared to enjoy fresh made pastries and coffee. For under $10 we had terrific indulgence. No fancy coffee. Some locales were enjoying a large breakfast, so we shall return. Small dining area. Nice people and clean.

This bakery had great reviews, so we stopped to check it out for breakfast. My southwestern omelette was excellent! However the coffee was weak. I would go back for all the delicious baked goods, but I would get my coffee elsewhere. The hostess was very friendly, bathroom clean, and easy parking. Enjoy!

The pastries are very good, unfortunately I ate enough to know first hand. I can recommend the cherry turnover and the almond bear claw and the almond danish. It was about 2:00 in the afternoon and there was a local artist singing from a small stage in the front (and he was good).
