Best Italian vegetarian food ever. Loved their eggplant Parmesan sandwich. Hard tofuns if you don't live in this area.

My wife and I went to Sammio's with a group from church for dinner. The group included current Session members, their spouses and incoming Session members and their wives. Because 23 people were in the group, service was slow although church business was conducted while we waited for the wait staff to take our orders. Originally, we thought we would... More

I love patronizing local establishments. I was excited to try this Italian restaurant today. It was a business lunch and the server didn't do a great job of reading the table -- she came by far too frequently and didn't give time to look at the menu before asking if we were ready. I had the small calzone with mushrooms... More

The restaurant is always busy. The food is that good. In fact food is always better at family owned and operated restaurants. But service is lacking. They are slow to get food out and slow to refill drinks because the kitchen is that slammed. They try their best to keep up and it shows, but they really need more help... More

I was in from out of town and wanted to get together with a friend I had not seen in some time who lives in Fayetteville. She suggested this place, and I am so glad. The food was very tasty, the ambiance was perfect for us to have a good catch-up chat, and the service was outstanding. Good value, too.... More

Today was a bad day for us at Sammios. Not the norm, but it is a reminder that the experience is only as good as the waitress. We were the only customer in the restaurant. Had to get up and go around looking for our waitress because she had wondered off and not come back. She also changed our order... More

Sammios is my family's favorite restaurant. The food is consistently amazing, and they have the BEST sweet tea in North Carolina! We always get great food and great service, but I really had to complement them after we held my grandpa's 90th birthday there. Finding a restaurant that can accommodate 50+ people is difficult to do, but Sammios did it... More

We enjoy both local Sammios locations. Specialty Italian dishes are very tasty, service is great. Building and decor are a little dated, but overall, not bad. Not a date night stop for me and my wife, but definitely a family favorite.

This is our favorite local Italian food restaurant in town. It beats all the others hands down with the taste, quality, quantity and price.

The paved parking lot goes straight up to the front of the building that looks like an abandoned movie set. I would never have stopped there, except for being invited with a group. The Decor on the inside was just as barren and unattractive. The service was fine, but sitting on the inside was just depressing. The portions are fairly... More
