Great menu. Has selections for everyone. I like the vegetarian plates. Upon sitting down you get a basket of chips with choice of hot or mild salsa. We always order a bowl of cheese dip. It is really good.

The food was good (Burrito Mi Casita) and the service was good. 2 of us got the Burrito Mi Casita and both asked for jalapeno on the side only, and they both came with the peppers rolled up inside. They weren't too hot, though, once...I realized they were there and made sure to cut up smaller! The prices are getting a bit high, but I guess that is pretty much an industry standard right now. The white cheese dip is awfully expensive for the amount you get - only about 1/3 cup and usually so thinned down that it doesn't even stay on the chip. The service there is hands-down better than average here in F'ville. Their staff seems to appreciate their jobs much more than most wait staff here. A couple other reviews have been quite negative toward the staff; perhaps those customers need to remember that obnoxious customer attitude does not lead to better service; a smile and a 'Thank you' get you ever-so-much farther, especially if there is a problem with your order.More

We were visiting relatives and we all decided to go out for dinner and we were all in the mood for Mexican food. Someone had said, "Let's go to Mi Casita because they have the best Mexican food!". When we went in the place was...busy and the person who greeted us was very nice to us and seated us at a table. While we were looking at the menus a person came to the table and gave us 2 bowls of fresh nacho chips and a few bowls of salsa. We asked him if the salsa was mind and he replied, "Yes, that is mild salsa". One of the people at the table started to eat the nacho chips and dipping them in the salsa and then yelled out, "That's not mild salsa because my mouth is on fire and it's burning!". We called the guy over to the table and asked him why he gave us hot salsa and he replied, "That is mild salsa" and the person said to him, "That's mild salsa then why is my mouth burning you moron?". He brought back to the table a few different bowls of mild salsa. Then a waitress came to the table to take our orders and while everyone was ordering I asked her, "Miss, do you have Wi-Fi here?". She replied, "What is that?". I replied, "You mean to tell me that you don't know what Wi-Fi is?". She replied, "No, sorry I don't know what you talking about". I looked at her in complete shock. Everybody ordered different things and I decided to order the "Mexican Pizza" and what a big mistake that was for sure. When our order finally came out about a 1/2 hour later everything looked good until we started to eat. More than 1/2 of the food was cold and undercooked and the "Mexican Pizza" I had left room for desire. It was nothing more than a disgusting mess on my plate. We all were very disappointed with the dinner we had at this "Mi Casita" and we will not be going back to this one ever again. On the way out I had to use the Men's room and believe it or not I found another toilet filled with defecation and whoever did it did not even flush it down. I noticed on some of the reviews of this "Mi Casita" some imbecile had stated, "Fine food in a fine place with fine service" and do not listen or pay attention to any of the nonsense because the imbecile does not know the first thing about "Fine food in a fine place with fine service". WE DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS "MI Casita" due to the lousy food and terrible service we received when we were here for dinner...!More

Last night I went to dinner at the Mi Casita in this strip mall. The waitress was pleasent, took my order and came back with the wrong entree. She said they would make it fresh, but they just added the shrimp and recooked my steak...fajita with it adding more oil. It was gross. Then they said they would get me new tortillas and did the same thing!!! Also, she brought me my entree but took the dressings for the fajitas and said she would get them back to me fresh...yes,,, about a half hour later after my now cold, recooked fajitas were sitting there. Please beware!!! They count on customers to be ignorant and re cook and refry and give you overcooked junk. Unfortunately, it says a lot about there business practices...smiling all the way.... Sad place!! Oh and the price,,, about 15 dollars for oily, junk! The Westwood Location is not listed on here.More

My family and I have been loyal fans of Mi Casitas since they opened their first location. We’ve had the pleasure of eating at practically each one of their many locations of the years. John, Gabriel and the many managers and employees have seen our...sons grow up to be adults and to have them become patrons. It was great seeing their growth. For several years the quality of service, in our opinion, diminished and the complaints about food preparation began to increase. Portion sizes were reduced and in some cases, cleanliness and quality control was problematic. When doing takeout, we’ve had to call and complain about the portion control and inconsistencies. When in the restaurants, we’ve spoken to Gabriel about our concerns and he would discuss issues with turnover and new food preparers “but give us a chance we will make it better.” Two recent trips at different locations proved that our concerns are continuing and in both cases, worsening! When placing takeout orders, in both situations, we ordered fajitas for two and barely had enough portion for one. The chips that come at the restaurant, all you can eat, was in a very small bag for one person. The meal failed to have the rice and beans and did not have the salad or tortillas. When calling back, the manager did that portions have been reduced at the direction of the owner, John. They realized they screwed up the rest of the order and offered to make it right in our next visit. Two weeks ago, we thought we would place an order at the Raeford location, which had consistently been one of the better locations of late. Unfortunately not on this occasion. It was practically a repeat of the previous incident! The food barely had enough fajita for one, much less two. Meat was scarce but certainly had more than it’s fair share of tomatoes, peppers, and onions. It was as if they were trying to disguise this lack of meat with filler! Again we received a very small bag of chips and salsa had to be requested! When calling managers at each of the stores....they each confirmed that they have been directed to cut portion controls by John. Unfortunately this new business move by the chain owner has impacted my family and we do not believe we are any longer receiving the ‘bang for the buck’ that we once did. We, unfortunately are no longer customers of Mi Casitas. The business practice adopted by John has necessitated that we get our Mexican at other locations. In discussing these changes with friends and neighbors, each of them have had the same concerns and apparently left Mi Casitas before we did! Perhaps less focus on adding new stores or building new facilities should stop until you make your business better. Return to what made you successful! If this current model is your new standard, then I look forward to providing your competitors much more business!More

Mi Casita is a chain Mexican food restaurant. The Mi Casita in the Tallywood Shopping Center on Raeford Road, Fayetteville is new and larger than the Mi Casita at the corner of Cliffdale and Reilly Road. The menu selections are the same. The service is...similarly pleasant and professional. I always get the selection at the top of the lunch menu: "Speedy Gonzales" because it happens to be precisely what I want: one taco, one enchilada and refried beans. When I spoke such an order, another guy in my dining party asked the food server, "Isn't that a racist term?" The food server politely declined to make a judgment. Even though we were a party of 7 individuals who made a wide variety of orders, our food was brought to us speedily, correctly, and with courtesy.More

One of the best mexican places in town. The service is fast. I found it a little spicy. They have variety of salsa. The cheese dip we ordered was perfect. I would visit again and again.

Been a fan of this place since it opened! It has been great to watch John and his family expand their restaurant holdings. This is a testament to his excellent food and efficient service. Worth the trip each and every time!

Really nice restaurant , first time eating here. I'm not from here but I loved the atmosphere and the food was good. Their coconut flan was amazing! Our waiter was okay, I wished she would have been more friendly or smile good. But overall it...was a good experience.More

It's true.... The food is not the best on the planet, but it's good and the service is outstanding and the environment is top notch. My family is HUGE and the folks at Mi Casita have been nothing but great to us for years. The...Tacos de Carne Asada are good and the kid's meals all come with a drink. Honestly, I am not a snobby "foody", but value the connection that food brings - Mi Casita is perfect for that.More

When my colleague invited to treat me to a birthday lunch and gave me my choice of anywhere in Fayetteville to go, I chose Mi Casita in the Tallywood Shopping Center because I had heard it but had never gone there. It turned out that...all of us from the office went and all of us enjoyed our food very much, even the guy who claims to not like Mexican food. The entire lunch experience is enhanced by the system of first bringing over chips and salsa, which we enjoyed when deciding what to order and when waiting for our entres. After paying for my lunch, my colleague asked me, "Why did you order the cheapest thing on the menu?" I told him, "Because that is what I really wanted." (Speedy Gonzales)More

Not even a full minute had passed before the waitress was hovering over asking for our order, then again 2 mins later.Didn't even have time to read the menu. After delivering the food, she was nowhere to be found, sat for 20min before we went...and asked someone else for the bill. And had to ask for boxes when clearly there was a ton of food left unfinished. The carne asada tacos were terrible, no seasoning was used at all. Like hamburger meat with cilantro and onion. The chips and salsa were really good. The beans were clearly right out of a can. Flavorless. I'll make the drive across town next time I want Mexican. So gross and crappy wait staff.More
