Don’t know why this restaurant got so many great reviews. It was cruddy and run down. That would be ok if it weren’t for the food. The dumplings were dry, the chicken satay was thin and super dry, the sesame chicken had a bread coating...with a weird texture coating. I am belching like crazy and just took a Prilosec.More
We have been to a couple of Thai restaurants in the Fayetteville area and this one is by far the best of them. Food is seasoned very well and the price is reasonable.
The prices were decent and food Super Amazing! Wish I could eat here everyday. My favorite restaurant so far. 10 Star to me.
Amazing Thai food and this is our first time walking in!! Service was excellent, portions of food were larger than expected, and of course the taste really brought me back to the original flavor of authentic Thai food!!
This restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside, but the cuisine is excellent! The establishment appeared to be very clean (96 "A" sanitation rating) and we'll maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke fluent English (No language barrier). I had the Fresh Rolls ($4.99)...Two rolls cut in half. They were good size and all the ingredients were fresh. Next I had the Tom Kha [chicken]($9.99). This was a large bowl that is easily a meal for 1. The ingredients were fresh and the soup is not made from a paste, as evidenced by the presence of galangal and lemongrass. They did however use white mushrooms instead of straw mushrooms, but it is forgivable LOL. The flavor was spot-on. Lastly, I had the Thai Fried Rice [shrimp] ($12.99). The flavor was very good. The rice was cooked well and the shrimp was fresh. All in all, the food was presented well and promptly. Soy sauce and Fish sauce available at the table. Sodas are by the bottle ($1.99). I was looking to try something new and decided to try this place. I am glad I did.More
I enjoyed this restaurant tonight for the first time and I promise it will not be my last! From the moment we entered we were served graciously in the “old” tradition of what good service is all about. I am not an Asian food expert,...but the shrimp spring roll appetizer was to die for. My wine portion was generous! My food, a chicken curry dish was superb. The restaurant was clean, up-to-date and inviting. None of my party of four were left wanting for anything flavor wise,service wise or price wise. I now rank this hidden Fayetteville gem at the top of local dining options. 15 minutes earlier than expected, all dishes as ordered and delicious. Tom kha soup and cucumber salad were favorites. Chicken satay app was large enough for kids meal. Good find.
Really nice takeout dinner & timely friendly service. Very good online ordering system. Great portions - always appreciate it when takeout curry is packaged in extra containers that match how much you would get in a giant bowl! Good authentic flavors, fresh veggies. You already know that the authentic Asian food restaurants are not big places and not much to look at. The Thai food here is so authentic and delicious, and so are the dishes they serve it in. We've eaten in a lot of Thai restaurants...all over the world even in Thailand, but this ia as authentic as it gets. (I'm sure that is why it is near a military post where people have eaten the real thing.) 5 stars for food, and 3 stars for appearance (but don't let that deter you).Im sure the carry-out is yummy, but eat off the real plates like in Asia. I can't wait to go back!More
I go to 2 Rim Khong all the time for both lunch buffet and dinner. This is a family owned restaurant and the food is authentic both for Thai and Laotian food. You can get any item made to any level of spicy you want....The service is also excellent. Highly recommend you visit this restaurant!!More
