Stromboli

Amalfi's is consistantly good. My go to are their strombolis, although their pizza is good, too. No premade crusts served here. Dough is prepared on-site and tossed the old way. The place is small and has a strong local following. It is tucked away in a little shopping center next to Wal-Mart on CC... read more

Visited on a road trip to Charlotte. I wanted something other than fast food. The pizza was doughy, with no flavor. Italian cold cut so bad I threw away after a couple of bites. Based on my experience I do not recommend.

No decent options in town. Got take out. Saddest Greek salad I've ever had. Industrial grade but edible food.

Really more of a lunch place, everything I've had here is good. A little curve for first timers: you order at the window and then sit. Your meal is then delivered to you. Prices are reasonable and service is prompt - I recommend it!

My husband and I stopped here while running an errand. We shared the homemade lasagna for $8.15. It came with a simple salad, homemade bread. The pasta and sauce were homemade. Incredible! Tiramisu for dessert! Great surprise!

The restaurant has nice décor. Food was okay. Service seemed little unprofessional or maybe just too casual. Tables and floor needed to be cleaned better and more promptly.

We had been at Raffaldini's winery for a tasting event on a Friday afternoon and wanted a nice dinner afterward. We drove to a well-known upscale restaurant in Elkin and found it closed with no explanation posted. Some people in the vicinity suggested a sports bar/restaurant farther down Main St., which turned out to be too noisy for our taste... More

I ordered pizza . It wasn't much better than a boxed one from the frozen foods at the local grocery store. Fast food or less .

Had dinner here one evening...very informal but excellent Italian food especially liked the bread. I had eggplant parmigian with pasta included and bread for about $10. My husband had veal parmigian and enjoyed that as well. Good place to go when you want to be casual and omfortable.

In my opinion, this is the best place to get pizza in town. I like my pizza crust to be on the thinner side and crunchy. That is how they usually prepare it. Pepperoni with Anchovies is my favorite, although my wife doesn't like the Anchovies, so they have to be on the side. Food, service and price is excellent!... More
