There were no other customers in the restaurant, yet the service was slow and unattentive. Fish was over cooked even after I advised I wanted it medium. My wife got a hamburger. It appeared to be a run of the mill 4oz burger well done, not medium as requested. With one beer, the check was $36 bucks!

Drove down to Elizabeth City to check out a used car. Decided to have lunch before we started to the dealership. Went to the downtown area of Elizabeth City to find a locals spot and found Sidneys. Restaurant was quiet but it was past 2PM. Greeted immediately and was offered a drink. A small, but rather impressive, craft beer list... More

I had the fajita salad and husband had the juicy Lucy which is a hamburger patty filled with your choice of cheese. Iced tea is delicious. Best we'd had all week. Cute place, attentive staff.

We went for brunch. The cook staff sat us and got our drinks while we waited which I thought was great. We both ordered the parfait and enjoyed our experience.

This was our first visit to Sidney's, so we didn't know what to expect. It felt like a bistro somewhere in Europe, including the tables in the atrium area. There was a lot of variety on the menu, with sandwiches and salads to choose from, along with a number of specials. I had the Sidney's Spring Salad, which was greens... More

I have lived in NYC my entire life, so I know good food. I was in town visiting family and we went to Sidney's for lunch. OMG!! I ordered the blt flatbread pizza. It was as good as anything I could get in the Big Apple. The atmosphere and the staff were wonderful as well. I would highly recommend Sidney's... More

Day trip to Elizabeth City with some 60 degree weather and sun shine! Stopped into "Sidney's" for lunch...OMG it was awesome! True southern hospitality, food that did my palette good! The only problem that I had was trying to decide what I wanted to eat! The menu is full of mouth-watering dishes.

We stopped in after visiting the Art museum. While not all that hungry the menu offered a good variety. We had some soup which was very tasty and different from what we expected. Different being good for us as we like trying new dishes. Definitely worth a visit.

My review is a bit late posting but hubby & I stopped for dinner at Sidney's last Saturday while visiting family in the area. We started the meal with a wine cocktail called the Apothic Bliss, a new drink our server Nesha happened to create, which included a blend of Prosecco & Apothic white wine...so refreshing and yummy! With drinks,... More

Had a beautiful morning riding around Elizabeth City on the fairly well marked bike trail. Some very beautiful houses and water front. Sidney's was right in the middle of downtown. Our Reuben and Roastbeef/blue cheese sandwiches were warm and yummy. Homemade chips finished it off. Great little spot for a bite.
