Needed something for lunch and didn't want to stop at a fast food place. Went in and asked for a slice to go - told it would be a few minutes because they make the slice fresh, no reheating of pizza already made. Worth the...short wait. We stumbled upon this place for a late lunch. The ambiance is like a diner, pretty informal and the food was good. The chicken Parmesan with spaghetti, marinara sauce, and garlic bread was large enough for two meals. The Hawaiian pizza had a tasty thin...crust and lots of cheese but could have used more sauce. The small Caesar salad was more of a large one. We will have to grab a bite here again and try other items on their extensive menu next time we’re in town.More
Since they've remodeled their service has taken a nose dive. A group of us used to eat their quite frequently but after their remodel their service went down hill. First meal after the remodel our server has just started that day and no one was...working with her. Our meal took an hour to get to the table and I had a hamburger and french fries and the french fries were ice cold and the hamburger was just warm. To top it off their menu says a chessburger platter comes with fries...well a hamburger and french fries is not a platter and each item is separate costing me $15.00. Take out orders on two occasions were wrong and I had to go back. I'll stick with Tony's, they've been here a long time, nice atmosphere and great food, pizza is better too. Tony's has been hear for over 25 years and they're nice folks.More
Ate lunch here today with the family. We all got something different, everything was great. Especially the service. My dad forgot his credit card and our waitress came out to the car and returned it back to him. What a sweetheart. Thank you Abby for...the impeccable service!More
Barley's offer an economical lunch special that's very reasonable. The food is always plentiful. The service sometimes is slower than expected. I recommend trying it out.
I love the marinara sauce...and always get eggplant Parmesan with extra sauce. The dinner lasts three meals for me. The Pizza is really good too.
We order our pizzas online a lot and go get them from the restaurant. Our order has never been wrong. Friendly service.
Got takeout after a long day on the road. Food was good and service was spectacular! If I lived in town I would eat here often. Still haven't tried those chicken wings, maybe next visit!
The pizza is great. The Cobb salad is great and today we tried the Maryland crab cake. Everything that I have eaten there so far has been awesome. Never disappointed. Really nice wait staff.
We did quite often eat there in the beginning when they first opened, Food was delicious and a lot left over to take home. Then after about 6 months the pizza changed, the crust was no longer crispy, the pasta had a lot of water...in the plate with sauce. The cheesesteak now have a bad smell and taste. We are done!!!More
Well, we are on the fence for the Barley Pizza... Nearly everywhere I looked when we arrived, tables needing wiped and floors swept... The severs were polite, quick, and even ask us about the cooler temperature in the restaurant and if we felt the same..."chill"... If the servers felt the chill then you can be certain that your customers do as well... We do need to go back and try something different to actually make a good judgment call, thence the 3 stars until we do... We ordered the Special pizza which came out nice and hot, the crust was lightly browned on the bottle and had a wonderful crunch and the outer ring was a warm brown but you could still tear it easily... The toppings included bell peppers, onions, mushrooms, pepperoni, and sausage (crumbles)... Overall, a very good pizza for the price... My wife ordered her tea half sweet and half unsweet and she said it had nearly no tea taste, watered down... I had the unsweetened and have to agree... So food and service get great marks, front cleanliness, temperature, and a southern standard iced tea get them the lower rating... We did say that we would go back to try again...More
The menu is extensive and it's like eating home made. I enjoyed my food a lot and will be a regular. Nice waitresses too.
Really good food. Fast service and great staff. Pizza is delicious. My favorite is the buffalo chicken sandwich.
We went thinking about pizza and ended up with spaghetti and strombolies. Food was very good. Had a great flavor and was more than we could eat. Spaghetti came with salad, strombolies were about half the size of a medium pizza. Hugh. I ate half...and i plan to eat the rest for lunch. We will be going again. There is alot of different choices for lunch and dinner.More
We found Barley's last year when were visiting here, and have already eaten here 3 times this trip. The food selection covers any needs, comes in massive portions, and is very, very good. Prices reasonable, especially so for lunch specials. Wait staff is friendly and...attentive. Everyone needs to go to Barley's. Now if they would open a location back in Texas..More
