Tasty food. Excellent onion rings! Fried shrimp Cobb salad was very good, but the greens could have been fresher. Ahi Tuna sandwich was delicious, but difficult to eat; The steak kept falling apart. Service was cheerful and attentive.

Been there a few times, this time for brunch. Had a BLT with an egg and fries, pretty average, cost $12 I believe and was no better than a Waffle House meal. A birthday party with 12 young girls was close by so lots of high pitched giggling etc.. I want to like this place, it's convenient , clean, upscale... More

My wife and I went there recently for lunch, based on my wife hearing a lot of good things about the place. We there went on a Wednesday and good tables were available. The food was wonderful and the service was even better. The cold soup was so good on a very hot August day and their hamburger was even... More

Watts Grocery continues to shine, however, last week the chef was very heavy-handed with the salt. I had the ribeye with squash gratin and garlic green beans. The steak was cooked to a perfect temperature, but was far too salty. The duck breast was too salty as well. The silver queen pudding that comes with the duck was outstanding.

I ate lunch here with my daughter today. I had the "blue plate special," a wonderful salad of fresh local greens, fresh figs, and grilled chicken with a light blue cheese dressing. I say "light" because it wasn't overpowering and heavy like blue cheese dressing can be. Everything on their menu was fresh and mostly locally grown. The restaurant was... More

We had a very enjoyable lunch and have heard that the breakfast is amazing. Service was fine. We were there during a quiet time, so I would've expected it to be spectacular, honestly. The atmosphere was nice and they had a nice selection of food on the menu. The best thing we tried was the shrimp and grits. I think... More

Located close to the NC School for Science and Math. Ample off-street parking. Unpretentious decor, featuring artwork depicting local scenes and landmarks. Attentive service without being overbearing. We split the Fried Green Tomato appetizer. One of us had the Grilled Pork Tenderloin over roasted sweet potatoes with bacon collards and bourbon brown sauce, another had the Low Country Seafood Gumbo... More

I have tried Watts twice now hoping to come away feeling better. Reviews are great but I did not care for food. Portions are small and it can be pricey. I had the butternut squash chicken salad over spinach and the chicken was so wafer thin I had to look twice before I realized it was my "meat". Looked like... More

We went for a group dinner - great service and very good food. There is no much that stands out, though.
