Simple put the best brisket in town. I've been eating here for years and they have always served some of the best barbeque. I love this place.

Another fantastic recommendation from a friend. Had to have some bbq from the original Q shake and we were not disappointed. We ordered take out so we could watch some basketball but the meal was still hot and flavorful. We decided on a multi-meat plate....More

I do not know enough about the nuances of BBQ to be able to say with any certainty what kind of BBQ this is. What I do know is that the pulled pork sandwich with slaw was outstanding. And pretty inexpensive, too!

Made it back to this place during a recent visit to Durham. Still as good as ever. Very authentic. Big choice of meats, I had the 3 meat place, with chicken, brisket (to die for) and ribs st louis style. All terrific. For my sides,...More

This place was what you could expect from a N.C. BBQ joint. Quick service, plenty of food, delicious hush puppies, but the sauce and flavor was lacking.

I'm surprised to see any poor reviews on here.....this restaurant is one of the best Durham has to offer! The food is great and they focus heavily on customer service....I'd highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and know that you will not be disappointed!

Heard so much Hype, finally go there on a slow mid week night. You order at the counter preferably after reading the various menu boards. I felt rushed and didn't really have ample time to look and decide. I went with a burger that was...More

Went to Q shack 12/31. Asked guy at register if they were still open since chairs were on tables and he replied in a very rude manner. Then when we go to the register he starts giving us grief for ordering hamburgers at a BBQ...More
