Where to begin? How about outside, with not one but two lovely patios for al fresco dining. Except on this August evening, too hot and humid, so dined inside. There are, essentially, three rooms. The first, by the bar and closest to the entrance, is a lively, bistro setting. Lots of smaller tables, lots of atmosphere, lots of energy. It... More

Whenever we visit family in the area we always take the drive to Vin Rouge. Oysters, Onion Soup or Steak Frite in the evening and a fantastic brunch on Sunday. Moule Frite, Eggs Benedict a few ways, Salmon and Eggs with Salad. All fresh and prepared to order. Start with a Bloody Mary or glass of cold French Burgundy and... More

Went to Vin Rouge with our 14 year old and a friend with another 14 year old. Both boys. We ordered the Mushroom and cheese omelette and the French onion soup. 14 year old ordered French Toast. The winner, hands down, is the French Onion soup. It is truly the best I've ever tasted. Loaded with onions, cheese, and bread.... More

Just got back from the North American home of French cooking, Montreal. This place is so similar to many of the French restaurants there it's scary. Do get the onion and feta appetizer, it's served with a small salad, next time I'm going to get that along with creme brulee and call it a meal. I had the tournedos, great... More

Everything about this place. Ambiance, taste, service is high end. Usually that comes with a steep price but here many of the entrees on the regular menu is very reasonable. Our one appetizer of the caramelized onion and goat cheese tart was outstanding. Should have had one each instead of shared but good things awaited so I thought. I got... More

The food is fabulous. The Onion Soup alone would have me coming back. So would the trout, and dessert. But it is so so loud that you have to shout to hear your friend/date. I wish they could do something about the acoustics.

The ambiance, the service stadf, the appetizers, the entrees, the breads, and the desserts are remarkable. They all set the standard for dining excellence. This is the venue for a special evening of fine dining!

The serving staff was excellent. The food was prepared like many dishes in France. They have a brunch that is extremely good.

It reminded us of dinners in random restaurants in small towns in France. The food was noticeably better than one finds in most similarly-affordable U.S. restaurants.. The portions too are European rather than American, which is fine given that the prices are appropriate to the serving size. . We were in town for three nights and picked three restaurants from... Driving around on a late Sunday morning after attending a concert event the night before, we just happened to drive by this place looking for a breakfast spot. They prefer reservations, but we happened to lucked out that they in fact a table available and were able to accommodate us. The service is certainly fine dining quality and the food... More
