Just the perfect place for meat lovers looking for a tasty hamburger resembling the flavors you get when you preparing them at home but including premium top quality ingredients and eating a bowl of award winning beef chili as a side dish. They also have a variety of artisan beers that could match any hamburger you choose.

The burgers are very good with a lot of variety. Everything is locally sourced and fresh, so it is a little on the pricey side, but definitely worth it. The fried pickles are very good as an appetizer. The have a good selection of quality craft brews. You order at the counter and a server brings your food to you... More

Great burgers. I had a burger cooked "a little pink" (they have three levels of done: rare, little pink and well) with caramelized onions, cheddar, lettuce, and tomato that was scrumptious. You can really tell that this is a pastured beef..SO flavorful. Also had a hot dog that was incredible with their homemade beer brown mustard and onions and, with... More

I have been to Bull City Burger multiple times, and I have never been disappointed with the food. It is more than I generally like to spend on a burger, but everything is fresh, local, and made in house, so the price is justified. The absolute best value is the Saturday afternoon beer tour. $5 for the tour, a good... More

Great little place for burgers and brews. My husband really does not care for ground beef because of its side effects (heartburn, fatty, settles badly) but because theirs is all grass fed even he enjoyed our visit. Beer was really good. I didn't realize until we were actually inside that you order at a counter and it's brought to you... More

Location, location, location, and this place has it if you happen have jury selection duty. Right around the corner from the courthouse and it's the only non fast food in the immediate area. Just what you need after a stressful morning of court. Sit back and relax with your favorite libation or try one of their own brews. The burgers... More

Mainly Burgers and hot dogs. Long lines but food is good. Close to DPAC which is why we went there. You order in line and food comes. No sauce at table. They chase tables the service hunts for numbers. In spite of this the place is busy.

Went on a beer tour today at 11:30. It was exceptionally fine and had a great time. The tour guide was very helpful, fun and very knowledgeable about the breweries we visited. We had approximately 20 people in the tour, the beers were good, staff at the breweries were knowledgeable and informative. Cannot say I was a fan of all... More

Very fast service, and delicious local sodas. The burgers are unique and juicy, and the fries are delicious. Will definitely be back when craving a burger!

Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
