A good burger an a whole bunch of craft beers to go with that burger. A great place for a quick beer or a burger. Can be a bit noisy when crowded. But it is a beer bar with a burger joint inside.

We found the environment to be noisy and less than comfortable. You wait in line to order, then find a seat and wait for your order to be delivered. You get your own drinks. It moves right along and the prices are fine. The burger was fine but not the best we have had. The duck fries were like potatoe... More

That's right, I don't eat beef, but if someone says Bull City Burgers I am there! I'm literally drooling over the thought of duck frites right now. The fried pickles are great, the beer is delicious, and I love the veggie burger they have. Don't let the lack of beef in your diet deter you, they have something for everyone.

Stopped in mid afternoon on a Saturday and grabbed a seat at the bar. Bartender was friendly and very interactive, described the farm to table and locally sourced options, pretzels were great burgers outstanding, beers just okay. Great place for lunch or an evening out.

Went to BCBB with my husband. He enjoyed his beer. Bought a can to go as a gift for a friend. I loved the fresh from scratch margarita. We also shared the rye pretzels. Out of the oven warm. Beer cheese dip was great. I had a burger with cheddar cheese and pickles with sweet potato fries. Burger was delicious... More

I have come here many times with my family and we have brought many out of town guests to eat here. All the food is very high quality and is delicious. Their burger special is often enticing and always interesting. My personal favorite is the Over Easy burger. I've never thought of putting a fried egg on a burger, but... More

Went for lunch and was disappointed. The order was mixed up. Burgers were under cooked even though we specified well done. I requested bacon, blue burger and ended up with a bacon, pimento cheese burger. Grandson's grilled cheese order was lost and finally came out. Fries were cold. Daughter ordered burger with pimento cheese well cooked. Came out raw and... More

The food was ok, and the choice of toppings were interesting, but nothing to write home about. The best part of the visit was the Duck Fat French Fries. I found the experience a tad expensive for Burgers and Fries outside of Vegas or NYC.

BCBB, as it's known, is a decent place. The hamburgers are tasty and the fries are good. However the price of two beers ($4.85 ea), a burger ($14), and fries ($2.85) is quite expensive. If you sit at the bar then you can order food there. If you don't, then you have to wait in line to order. You sit... More

Description
Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
