The food is amazing, and the place was kid friendly. Everything was delicious. They even have a wine dispensing machine!!

We knew when we scored a parking spot directly in front, that we were in for a treat! We opted to sit at the bar vs placing our order at the back. We weren't familiar with the beers and wanted to sample. They have a 3 flight minimum but I think that if you wanted to sample (like 1 sip)... More

We stopped in with a party of 7 for lunch and enjoyed ourselves immensely. Grab a menu and order at the counter. Then, they bring you your food while you sit at long wood tables. In addition to their great variety of beer, they also have fun soda instead of the usual Coke and Pepsi stuff. Great fried pickles! Lightly... More

I like the layout with the long tables. Makes it easy to get groups of all sizes together. I went on a Friday night and there was a decent crowd but still plenty of places to sit. Lots of cool memorabilia on the walls. The beer was great. Didn't try the food yet.

I've really wanted to like this place, but I just can't get past the fact that I've never had a better than average burger here. I've been here quite a few times now for a variety of occasions, and the burgers are just not that stand-out. Many places in Durham offer better - I'd opt for Only Burger over this,... More

We made our first visit to Bull City Burger and Brewery on a recent trip to Durham. We wanted to grab a quick bite to eat and this place was great! Located downtown, in an area that is going through a renaissance of sorts. Parking was easy to locate (we visited after they stopped charging for parking), and the walk... More

This is a great little place in downtown Durham-lots of brews of their own and fell-brewers' making, with a good selection of burgers and other local foods

Stopped in for a meal on Friday night. We were in town for a Saturday wedding and we're looking for somewhere local to get a burger and a beer. Having never been here before we didn't really know what to expect or even how the ordering process worked. The friendly cashier came out from behind the register and took us... More

The place was packed and full of energy! We went with high expectations and they didn't disappoint.. We had the kale/cheese dip app...banging!...the pimento burger...bacon/fried egg burger....all the burgers were great...order with a little pink...cooked perfect! Couple of signature cocktails...and a black cherry soda....you will not be disappointed..... the noise and parking were the only negatives! We will do this... More

We visited for lunch and it was not disappointing. I had the hotdog and my wife had a burger. We split the fries. We agreed we would eat here again. Their craft beer was very good also. Small place but worth it. They make every thing in house. Try there BBQ sauce.

Description
Bull City Burger and Brewery is a locally owned, independent restaurant and craft brewery located at 107 East Parrish Street in downtown Durham, NC. We opened March 2011. The restaurant serves lunch and dinner 7 days per week with approximately 90 seats inside plus 60 seats of outside year round patio dining. We offer family friendly dining with a children's play area, as well as a semi-private meeting room for business gatherings, events and presentations all within full view of our own brewery. The restaurant is very much "farm-to-fork," working closely with North Carolina pasture-raised beef farmers supplying beef with no added hormones and antibiotic-free, that we grind daily to make our hamburgers and all-beef hotdogs. We work with other farmers growing vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers for pickles, and lettuce. The menu is streamlined with nearly everything produced on-site including house made buns, sauerkraut and bacon. We use no artificial sweeteners, no high fructose corn syrup, and no hydrogenated oils. We like to say we are like fine dining in a burger joint. We make the mustard, the slaw, the pickles, the mayo, the aioli, the hotdogs, the relish, the...
