We visit Duck each season and a stop here for lunch or dinner is something we always look forward to. It's a bright cheerful place and locals eat here so it fills up but is always a pleasant spot with daily fish, appetizer and drink specials. Things kick off with a Amuse-bouche. Ours was a small piece of cornbread topped... More

Have eaten here, frequently, for the past 25 yrs. The service, was excellent (as always) The food, this trip, tasteless - and the menu is limited - no excuse. Have had similar comments, from others who have dined there in the last six/eight months. New chef? If so...big learning curve; If not, wake-up. The "Season" is upon you!

Food was terrific, french fries here are the best, but they need to lose the live singing which was loud and truly awdul - increase brunch offerings if you want to call it brunch - thanks for a great experience !!

Three of us shared a perfect dining experience Thursday, April 23rd. As we watched a perfect sunset over the Sound, we were treated to dining options that were innovative, perfectly prepared, and perfectly served: sautéed calamari, Tabasco butter poached shrimp, beef tenderloin, and curry crispy catfish (really, really good). The restaurant itself reflects quiet good taste and the staff, especially... More

My family ate at the Blue Point on Thursday, April 9, 2015. We arrived at 4:30pm so ensure we got a table. The restaurant overlooks the Sound and has really nice water view tables. Service was excellent throughout meal. Both our server and the manager took care of use. I had the Lump Crab Cake, $32, my wife had the... More

First time diner at Blue Point. Simply put, albeit pricey, the food was very good, as was the service and the view. The wine queen and I both opted for the special, grilled sheepshead. Grilled and seasoned to perfection. The adult beverage list was adequate (again pricey). We had reservations for 6:45, arrived a bit early but were whisked right... More

The remaining 1/2 bacon cheeseburger from Sat's lunch did *not* disappoint...nor did the memory of the exquisite classic coconut cate with lime purée, which was a true delight. Silly, but one of its charms was that the flakes of toasted coconut were big enough not to lodge in teeth. I wld return for more, but that was birthdaycake, so more... More

Traveling on a budget we decided to try Blue Point for lunch since dinner prices are higher than many restaurants in Duck. We were seated at a Bayside picture window which provided a delightful view as if we were on a boat. I ordered the Oyster Stew and my husband had the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Both of our dishes were... Popped in for lunch while shopping on our last day in Duck and the OBX. This place may not look like much from the outside, but once you get in the door, it is all wonderful smooth elegance. And the food is just as good as the interior. The crab cake sandwich may be the best crab cake ever created.... More

Enjoyed a delightful dinner with my family at the Blue Point! We were greeted by a friendly hostess and seated almost immediately, despite an error I'd made in my Open Table reservation. Our comfortable booth was at the window to the sound, with a fabulous view. Sadly the weather did not cooperate, so we weren't able to enjoy the sunset!... More

A fresh approach to regional, coastal cuisine and southern hospitality alongside spectacular views of the Currituck Sound. Inspired dinner and lunch menus served in a warm and inviting atmosphere by a professional and natural staff. Exceptional and friendly Wine Menu + Full Bar complimenting both lunch and dinner menus. No better place for good food, good wine, good friends and spectacular sunsets.
