Even during busy August nights, this is a great restaurant! Staff are kind, hospitable and down to earth. Food is delicious. Nice environment with outdoor seating, lights and music certain evenings. Can be a stop for drinks or dinner and I find a way to go every time that I visit Duck.

Stopped in while in Duck the week of July 18th. Food not too bad but pricey for a "roadside bar". Save a few bucks and get better food at Coastal Cravings a few blocks up..Ok place for a drink though

We arrived for dinner at 8:30 pm as a party of 7 and were seated right away. The atmosphere was chill and the food exceeded our expectations - drinks were really good, too. We will return next time we are in Duck.

The food here is great and we visit at least once each year. Parts of the service were sub-par this time, maybe because it was 4th of July week crowds on a rainy night. We (2) put our name on the list and sat outside at the front stools rather than the backyard bar because a storm was coming. It... More

Tiny place, way too small for me to go again. The parking lot is insufficient. The waiter wrote nothing down, forgot to bring soup until after entree was served, never did remember side of mayo. Had crab cake sandwich which was good, not excellent. Scallop salad was very good.

My husband ordered 2 bowls of delicious Clam chowder here! However the menu gives very limited options and the dining space is very small. They also ran out of scallops- being that seafood is a large portion of their menu, that was disappointing.

Most of our food was good. Shrimp and grits and shrimp were tasty. Caesar salad dressing was much more of a vinaigrette that a traditional Caesar, and it was not enjoyable. A young man was our server and I would suggest he finds another occupation. To say he was not attentive is an understatement. One person never got and ice... More

We went to the Roadside Bar and Grille the other night for dinner. Our waitress was very friendly, nice and attentive. After ordering we were given delicious pretzel bread and honey butter. The Southern Gazpacho was delicious with smokey crab meat. The scallop appetizer was also very good. I had the crab cake dinner which came with 2 huge crab... More

Ate at bar..intriguing spot..greeted by VW bus and 60's music.. Any old hippie will feel right at home. Fun spot and visited by both tourists and local.

We have a timeshare in Duck, and we always go 2-3 times that week. There are always fresh selections, and the warm mushroom salad was to die for. Others in our group consistently enjoy the ribeye cooked to perfection, and the offerings are often creative combinations. Much of the menu does vary seasonally, so there is always a new culinary...
