One our favorite restaurants. Fresh chips and salsa. Great variety and friendly service!! Fajitas always come steaming hot!

No Margaritas!

Was surprised to get seated and find out that there would be no Margaritas with our Mexican meal. They don't even have wine any longer. Not interested in a beer, we simply had our lunch special with water. Rather small portions, and not a lot of taste, but still good enough for an inexpensive lunch. Fast service, though not busy when we were here for lunch.

Great Mexican Food

I eat at this location 2-3 times a month and the food is always great, especially the ACP. My children also love going here which is hard for them to like anything. I would recommend to anyone

Disappointed

Second time in a row that I've been, and they're out of my favorite dish, which is pork burritos aka burro a la roqueta. I can understand it happening once, but definitely not twice. Why even have it listed on the menu?? It's about the only decent dish there. So I had to choose something else, so I chose the California burrito, which was nothing like it's description. It was supposed to have rice , beans, etc in the burrito, but all I got was dry steak rolled up into a tortilla. That's it. So disappointed and will not be back!

Never fails...

Came in tonight with my family and it never ceases to amaze me how long it takes just to place an order. You’re seated. They give you chips and salsa and you don’t see anyone for over 10-15 minutes. When they do come to take your order, be prepared cause it may take another 10-15 minutes to even get the drinks. Waiting tables you learn the very first thing is to get people their drinks and keep them filled. It’s as simple as that. I warned my parents before even walking in the door here that this was going to be our experience and I’m glad the restaurant didn’t disappoint.

Everyone is so friendly at Tlaquepaque Restaurant and they have two other branches in nearby cities. We love to go there and meet up with our family members. Great food, and prices well within our budget.

Can Not Pass Up

We eat here EVERY time (at least three times a year) we are in the area. We don't even consider any other restaurants. Food is delicious, service good, great price. If you don't feel like going out, Mayberry Take Out provides delivery to a fairly large area. The order has always been correct and prompt delivery.

My husband and I came here for dinner on a Sunday evening. I am always a little nervous when a parking lot is not full but it was a Sunday night of a holiday weekend in the "buckle of the Bible Belt". We were seated promptly. The menu was new and had the typical choices you would expect. We decided to go with the Texas Fajitas, and also asked them to add scallops. The food came quickly and it was fabulous. Chicken, beef, shrimp, and scallops all cooked to perfection. The normal price for that dish (for two) is $21.99, but adding the scallops and soft drinks, it came to $29.95. Very reasonable for the serving size. Ana was our super duper waitress.

The fajitas, the guacamole, the salsa, all to die for. The restaurant is authentic in every way , Run by Hispanics. Very friendly. Food is seasoned just right. A true experience. Enjoy very much.

Good food!

I live in Dobson, and we love to eat here! Nachos and salsa are delivered immediately...all you can eat! I love the cheese dip with the nachos, and we order it often! Service is usually very good! They will sing for birthdays and do the traditional whipped cream pie in the face, complete with the large sombrero! My favorites are the fajitas texanas and the fajita quesadilla, but the chimichangas are good too!

Good food, service so so

My wife and I had dinner here and the food was really good as always. The only problem was the waitress that we had. She acted like it was a bother to wait on us. She did her job, she just had an attitude about it. We had the Fajitas for two which was excellent as always and usually is Fajitas for two with a meal left over. BTW we got mixed Fajitas with Chicken and Beef.

Only the Dobson,NC Resterant!

you would think that 2 of the same name within a 15 mile radius the food would be just as good as the other.False!!!! I visit the Dobson location before i EVER go back to the one in Pilot mountain(which is closer to me!)My food is always perfectly hot,tea and service is on point!
