My husband and I stopped here on a whim while passing through earlier today. The last time we had eaten here was about 25 years ago, so without any prior research, I was expecting the same menu, service and quality. We don't travel that area...More

The first time I ate at the Jarrett House was in 1986 with my family, more than 30 years ago. Since that time I have returned whenever I was in the area to relive my childhood and have a good old Southern supper. The food...More

Was told that hotel is closed for renovations and that once it reopens they may eventually try to reopen the restaurant. Sounds like it may be a while if ever.

When I went to Western Carolina it was such a treat to eat here so I stopped in for lunch while in area. Interior is very dated and food is diner quality. Service was great but not sure I would return.

We were traveling and our friends suggested that we stop here for dinner. Every one ordered their fried chicken and the plates came out heaped with chicken. They all said it was delicious.
