The steak I had was as good as any I have had at many more expensive steakhouses around the world. The staff was attentive and made sure I was well looked after. The owners were so active in making sure everybody was welcomed and the...bartender (Shawn) was very friendly as well. This is a family owned restaurant that serves great food at a reasonable price. They will make you feel like family. Definitely check it out!More

Good food but a bit pricey for the portions. The service was good and friendly but I didn't think the food deserved the prices charged.

Good steaks and wait staff. Good was good but over priced for the the area. The owner went to every table and checked on them except us. So I guess if your not a local.... But with that being said the food is Good.

My wife and I choose Boots at the recommendation of the local hotel. We are steakhouse aficionados having eaten at world class steakhouses across the US and internationally and I have to admit, based on prior experiences we didn't expect much from such a rural...area. I am glad to say we were pleasantly surprised! The only less than stellar part of our evening was waiting outside to be seated due to Covid restrictions. We waited quite a while before the hostess came out to address us - I would recommend installing either a patio or infrared heater to keep your patrons warm during the winter months while they wait for a table. We didn't have reservations so agreed to be seated at the bar rather than wait which turned out to be a great decision. The restaurant is very clean and the indoor and outdoor decorations reminded me of restaurants we had been to in Texas. The barkeeper who served us was very personable and attentive and took the time to create a custom holiday drink to my wife's delight. My wife ordered the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer which she said were the best she has ever had - a good sign! Our meals arrived within a reasonable amount of time and were hot and fresh. To hedge our bets, my wife ordered the NY Strip steak and I ordered their meatloaf thinking we could split the two meals just in case their steaks didn't meet the hype. Fortunately the NY strip was cooked perfectly, was tender and had great flavor! It wasn't the best steak we have ever eaten but was also less than half the price you would pay for a similar cut at a "high end" steakhouse. Based on this fact, you get a LOT of very good steak for your money. The meatloaf does not require any qualifiers as it was simply the best meatloaf I have ever had, probably because it is made from the excess trimmings of their steak. The flavor was rich and hearty and the tomato gravy was delicious. The mashed potatoes that came with the meatloaf were also excellent with a great flavor. Both entries were so good that we didn't end up sharing more than one bite of each other's meal. So, in summary the establishment is clean and quaint with a really cool, very large outdoor seating area for warmer times of the year. Service is prompt and the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Finally, the food is indeed excellent for the price paid. We were very glad we came and will certainly eat at Boots again the next time we are in the area.More

None better. My husband and I dine at this first class restaurant every week. I can honestly say we have never had a bad meal, in fact they have always been above excellent. This restaurant is immaculate. The owners and staff go above and beyond...to satisfy their customers. We love sitting in the bar area and always have a great chat with Shawn the bartender who is terrific. You will not be sorry in choosing BOOTS as your next night out.More

Have been here 20+ times, Prime NY Strip is amazing. Had the filet once, also great, but the strip is 14 oz! Pan-cooked, and I never thought I'd say that makes for a great steak, but the way THEY do it is all the difference....Better than Chris Ruth's and Morton's in Chicago. I've seen high steak prices, and these are very reasonable for the quality you get Menu is simple and portions very generous. Eating outside with the fire giving a nice ambience is great. Owners are always there, and they are extremely nice. Staff/service is always great. Anyone that wrote a bad review is one of those characters that brings their attitude with them, and everyone is supposed to be their serf.More

Second best steak of my life, and the best cost twice as much. Yes it’s expensive for a ribeye, but if you’re trying to eat steak on a budget go to outback. We had a group of 15 and everything they did everything possible to...make the experience perfect. Every steak was cooked perfectly and not a single glass went empty. Cant wait to go back.More

If you enjoy GREAT food and service this is the perfect place to stop and eat. The owners and staff go out of there way to make you feel like family. Our steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious. We also had some fabulous appetizers...including southwestern chicken egg rolls. If like egg rolls you should try these. With everything that is happening in our country today, we felt very comfortable and safe at the beautiful Boots Steakhouse !More
