The first time I ate here, I was wowed and my review reflected that. I now live here and have dined here 3 other times, including a special birthday dinner for my son. I didn't review the second time since I was less than wowed...but waited until I had several meals there. I am not sure what has changed but I have found the service to be rude and less than friendly and have not enjoyed my meals nearly as much as the first time. I will probably go back but not with guests because it has been inconsistent for me.More

Fairly decent offerings. They do "nickel and dime" you for a lot of items. I mean, who charges for bread service? And $4.50 at that? Would be nice if the servers were a bit more attentive....

I was a big fan of the brunch buffet with small plates included but WOW! am I ever impressed with the changed brunch menu. It's a full service plated menu. A server explained that they had to change because of people's perception of buffet service...and Kudos to ChillFire! They have Prime Rib and eggs, Crabmeat benedict, glazed salmon, omelets, a breakfast burger, chicken and biscuits and my favorite - shrimp and grits! I felt like I was in a 4 star hotel in a large city...Service is prompt and they still have $5 mimosas in a wine glass!More

First time at Chillfire. We will be back, too many delicious choices on the menu. We tried something from every category. Cheesy bread appetizer is rich and tasty. Salad was fresh , Rib eye was cooked perfectly and seasoned perfectly. Baby back ribs were tender....Had the Coconut cake for dessert, moist and delicious. Our server Dominic was prompt, courteous and not over bearing. The reason for four stars and not five. I had made the reservation with a note that we were celebrating our Anniversary and they did not acknowledge the event. Dessert slice could be a bit more large for the price. overall we enjoyed the atmosphere and will be back again!More

We enjoyed a wonderful lunch of shrimp and grits, scollops, as well as the Oscar Benedict. The service was friendly too. Nice to be dining out again!

The prices are high but so is the service quality service quality food. When you want fancy and upscale this is the place to eat. We use them for most of our special occasions. Very nice management and staff.

My husband and I went on Valentines night. The food was good and the service was good but for the price we were very disappointed that you have to pay and extra $5.00 for a simple garden salad unless you choose that as your side....They only offer a choice of one side instead of two like most places and there was no bread for the table like soooooo many place do. I’m very sure they would not go bankrupt for providing bread with your meal. You get bread at Olive Garden,Texas Roadhouse, Outback Steakhouse and soo many other places, but not this place. However as I said previously the food was good. We were first timers eating there but not sure if we will be back.More

We'd been looking forward for an entire week to the Sunday Brunch buffet. Special Birthday Treat. Never had a chance to try it since they randomly closed without warning on their website. Their FB page only announced it 1 hour before opening, too late for...us to see it before driving 30 minutes to the restaurant. Disappointing for us as well as the other 6 cars that drove up at 11am and parked only to find the small white note on the door. Management...be ashamed.More

Tried brunch for the first time...What a great value! $18.95 buffet plus you get to order small plates from a limited menu ( Included!)....Other breakfast places in the area are so expensive ala carte...they have breakfast items, carved roast beef and turkey, fried chicken, peel...n eat shrimp, a grit bar, mac-n-cheese on the buffet plus desserts. The small plates offered are eggs benedict, pancakes, omelets...these same items anywhere else would set you back $25-$30 per person...AND mimosas are $5!...Quality was also outstanding....Service prompt.More

Hubby and I decided to try this restaurant. We had made reservations and were happy we had. Many people were waiting for tables. Our server was Jasmine, and she was very accommodating, especially when we explained it was our first time. Drinks were excellent. I...had the 1673, with cucumber on the side. Delicious! Hubby ordered the Moonshine Mule. Hubby ordered the Chicken Breast but passed on the garlic sauce. Said it was pretty good. I ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo, minus the Blackened Chicken Breast. Not a fan of chicken. Thinking I would get a decent bowl of Fettuccine Alfredo. Well, I did get the pasta, but it was awful! Lots of noodles but very little sauce. I only had three bites and pushed it away. Now you would think our server would question why my dish was hardly touched. Nope! Didn't happen. She did ask if I wanted a box, and I said no thank you. I am disappointed that I wasn't ask about my barely touched dish. I think the servers should be advised to be a little more observant toward the consumer. Hubby wants to try the Sunday Brunch, and I agreed to go. Praying it will be better.More

Sure...this is lake country in August. But I'd add a shirt with a collar (Polo type)--not a ratty old tee shirt with holes. ;Have a great meal...fabulous prime rib, BTWW
