Looks like your basic beach bar, small and dark, but what a little gem! The NBX Bloody Mary was spicy and delicious and garnished with a shrimp, an olive and a Jalapeño pepper. The Collossal Jumbo Lump Crab Grenades were fantastic! Tempura battered and lightly fried crispy, Served with Wasabi Aioli and Asian Slaw, they were exactly as I'd hoped...hot... More

They do not take reservations and it was Thanksgiving week so we had a 30 minute wait. But it was worth it. Excellent appetizers. Good wine menu. Excellent seafood and sides. But the service is what made this special. Our waiter never rushed us, seemed to appear when needed but didn't hover or make a pest of himself. He was... More

We stopped here for lunch on the recommendation of the clerk at our hotel and we were very pleased with the selections available. We both opted for sandwiches and they did not disappoint. I had the grilled chicken breast with bacon and pepper jack cheese with coleslaw. My companion tried the chicken cobb with avocado and fries. Would definitely stop... More

Stopped in for lunch, which may be the last day they are open for the season. We had the stuffed crab grenades. Easily one of the best appetizers my wife and I have ever had. With the ginger and cole slaw all going in that dish, it was great. The Fish tacos were more than enough for two people to... More

Sunday night, the weekend before Thanksgiving and the restaurant was full, but the wait staff was on top of their game. Fresh, raw oysters for appetizers along with portobello mushrooms! Fresh steamed seafood for the main course. Hard to find anything wrong with this dining experience. One of our favorite restaurants on the OBX.

We weren't really hungry for a full meal, so we enjoyed several of their appetizers; Oysters, fish bites, crab dip and more. Service was good, and timely. They have a few TV's, so we watched some of the Saturday football as well.

We got a recommendation for this place by our hotel desk staff. The place is a little small but it was off season so there was no wait. The food was great, I got the fish tacos and they were loaded with fresh fish. My wife got the fried shrimp and they were huge. The crab dip was awesome also.... More

My wife and I grabbed dinner here during our baby-moon to the outer banks. The restaurant was suggested by our Hotel staff. The meals were great and the atmosphere and service were better. Highly suggest the Crab Mac-N-Cheese and the stuffed Pork-chop. We have travelled all over the world and this was by far the best pork-chop I have ever... More

First time to the restaurant and raw bar. Small so we ate at the bar, and glad we did. Enjoyable conversation with the staff, and the service and the food were spot on. Tried to go again Saturday night but was an hour wait (they don't take reservations so plan accordingly). Local seafood to boot.
