This is a typical Greek restaurant. The food is good and the service is better. The Yero is great. I heard that it is closing soon. Not sure, but I hope not. A must go to place when at the lake.

The ambiance/atmosphere is the only thing that's average here. The staff is pleasant and efficient; but the food is their forte. They have a good variation of menu items - something sure to please just about everyone. We had the rack of lamb and it was perfectly cooked (medium rare) and delicious. And very reasonably priced! The avgolemono soup is... More

This was our 5th visit to the Acropolis and once again we were delighted. We have decided to make this a regular stop on our way down interstate 77. The wait staff is professional, the food is excellent, and the environment is friendly. The menu contains all your Greek favorites, plus some American favorites too. I had the moussaka with... More

We eat here about once a week. The food is very affordable compared to other local eateries. The staff is always friendly and the food is good. We always order the Greek potato salad as a side.

We went to eat here because it was within walking distance of the hotel where we were staying. Not being fans of Greek food we were afraid we wouldn't find anything on the menu of interest to us, but we were wrong. They have a large menu selection and we quickly were able to decide on our dinner choices. Our... More

There's an old gag from the late, great comedian Les Dawson, when he's discussing a Greek holiday with the woman over the garden fence. 'Did you have the shishkebabs?' inquires the neighbour. 'From the moment we got off the plane,' is the response. No such issue at the Acropolis, but a lot of wry amusement at the start as the... More

Ok- I've never actually eaten a meal here or to go, however, each time I visit I go in for take out dessert. They have a large section but if you've never had their Coconut Cake... Well, you have to, even just to say you did. I do plan to try a meal there sometime, but I will say (my... More

This restaurant was very close to our hotel and was #6 on TripAdvisor so we thought we'd give it a go! Very friendly greeting, we were seated immediately! Waitress was prompt with fresh bread and butter and our drinks. We both order Fettuccini Alfredo, mine with grilled chicken, my husband's with shrimp. Both were very good, but I felt mine... More
