Stopped here one Sunday afternoon. Had the BBQ pork tacos. It came with 3 tacos with a TON of pork on each one. Wife got the club wrap,it as well was huge. Food was very delicious. Came out promptly and hot. Service was spot on. Will defiantly stop here again when in the area.

The food is good here with a nice variety on the menu. They have always been accommodating when we have larger parties. I especially like eating outside when the weather is nice. Great outdoor area with tv's and a fireplace and fans to help regulate the temperature. Good size bar area as well.

Since i live in the neighborhood this is a regular stop. Food is good, service can sometimes be a little off. Disappointed the took wings off the menu. There were the best in town with the Tavern Sauce. That was a staple for football Sunday's. Not sure if we find another place now. Menu otherwise is good, nothing that a... More

The food was below average and I wished I would've just cooked at home. Was excited because I've been here before and they always had good salads. Today, the ranch was spicy and on my Caesar salad there were rye croutons! I dislike rye and was not prepared to get that on a Caesar. The chicken was burnt. It actually... More

We had a luncheon at Afton Tavern and all went well. Our group had a variety of dishes and all enjoyed the food and service. I got the Afton Tavern 1/2 sandwich and house salad. I had more than I needed and couldn't finish all the food. Easy to get to off the Parkway and easy back onto I-85. Suggest... More

Based on past reviews we gave this restaurant a try. Something has clearly changed as the food was not worth the price charged. Shrimp were poorly prepared and soggy. The ribs were overcooked and dry but smothered in a wet sauce which did not overcome the poor preparation of the dish. Long wait time once we placed our order. Better... More

This tavern was a real find in Concord. Set in like a village type atmosphere we sat in the bar for our dinner. I had the shrimp roll and really loved it! We tried the cookie dessert and was fun! I would have eaten outside if the weather was just a bit warmer. The atmosphere was really cool on the... More

The Afton Tavern was suggested by someone I was meeting and a nice place for a business lunch and very close to exit 54 on I85. Deana was fantastic and kept our drinks filled during our entire meeting. I had a chef salad and my guest had the chicken salad plate. The tavern is very intelligent in their menu as... More

Our group of 18 was looking (well in advance!) for a dinner option on a Sunday evening that didn't scream, "Large big-box chain". We had a tough time finding a place that could accommodate our group on a Sunday, and would provide a full menu for everyone -- until we stumbled upon Afton! Our private space was ready when we... We eat here sporadically. When they first opened, it was really good. As the years have gone on, the quality and physical place have gotten progressively worse. To be honest, I will go occasionally with folks from work, but we will not longer make this a regular dinner spot. The food is good, but not quite worth the price.
