Decided to stop by between getting my daughter in Salisbury and returning home to Charlotte. Quickly seated, fast served (with being rushed),and our server was nice and efficient. Pleasantly surprised and would definitely go back of its on the way.

My family and I love eating at the Stag and Doe when we are in the China Grove area. They have a good variety of items on their menu so finding an entree is never difficult. I love their lasagna special. You get minestrone soup, a salad and lasagna with bread at a very reasonable price. And I must repeat... More

I had my first and last meal at Stag & Doe this evening. I have lived in the China Grove area for over thirty years, but just had never been to Stag & Doe. I met some friends there for dinner and it was one of the worst dining experiences I have had in many years. I knew the place... More

Stag and Doe has been around for many, many years. They've recently renovated and it feels much neater. The lasagna is great and you never leave hungry! We also love the Heinz 57 pizza. It's worth a trip to China Grove.

This restaurant has excellent steaks, pasta and pizza, been in business for decades. If you haven't been, it time to make the trip to China Grove. You'll be glad you did, : )

I especially love experiencing locally owned restaurants that have stood the test of time. The Stag and Doe is certainly in that category! On a recent Saturday night my fiancé and I decided to road trip it over and try out the lasagna we had heard so much about. Since we had read there could be a wait, we arrived... More

Our family has been eating here for many years. Steaks, grilled chicken, Cajun grilled shrimp, pizza, burgers, minestrone soup and homemade salad dressings are all awesome. But the absolute best item (only available as a special) has to be the whole fried flounder. You'd be hard-pressed to find a better seafood meal anywhere. Stag & Doe isn't fancy inside, but... More

From minestrone soup, to lasagna, to my favorite- the pizza!! They also age their own meat and get fresh seafood from the NC coast in weekly. The flounder is the BEST in the area. (Seafood credit: Stone Seafood also in China Grove)

My favorite meal at Stag & Doe is lasagne. It's the best ever. It comes with minestrone soup & a salad. I love the thousand island dressing. All salad dressings are homemade & are wonderful. My husband loves the chopped steak with baked potato. The filet is also a good choice for steak. Very flavorful & always good. The grilled... More
